"We also invited most of the party members from the hellfire club." Robin told us while explaining about Eddie's funeral. I honestly have no clue who that is because Mike never mentioned him to me, I wonder why. I also don't know what this "hellfire club" is.

We walked towards Steve's car and I was deep in thought. Hellfire club wouldn't be a dnd club right? Mike and I said we wouldn't join any other party plus before I left nobody even wanted to play dnd. I then thought back to the funeral. I don't have any clothes here.

"I don't have any other clothes, all my clothes are in California." I told the group while looking down at my shoes. I felt bad. It was someone's funeral and I didn't even have black clothes to wear.

"You can borrow some of mine, it should fit." Mike told me to cut my thoughts short.

My frown turned into a smile.

"Ok! Thanks Mike." I blushed slightly but turned away quickly hoping Mike didn't see me.

"Ok so I will drop you both off at Mikes then?" Steve asked, earning a nod from both Mike and I.

A little while later

We walked out of the car and I took a breath of the warm summer air in. I looked at Mike's hand as he grabbed the metal doorknob, opening the door to welcome us both in.  Taking a few steps in I glanced at Mike when I passed by, and he smiled. I smiled back for the moment's eye contact. He walked in quickly after I did, shutting the door.

"You can pick out an outfit and then go change in the basement, I'll change in my room." I nodded at him, wiping my shoes on the carpet and sliding them off, before walking to the stairs and running up them, hearing the footsteps trailing behind me as Mike raced behind me. I turned the corner sharply and shoved his door open as I went to the closet. Mike came in not seconds after me, going to a quick stop beside me. I looked at him, grinning, and he burst into laughter.

"It wasn't a marathon, you didn't have to run!" I joined Mike's laughing, but it didn't last long. Mike put his hand on my shoulder, and both of our laughter fizzled out.

"I want you to meet the hellfire club before we go to the funeral." He spoke, and I simply nodded. So it was a club.

But, I won't jump to conclusions, maybe it's.. Maybe it's a chess club! I took in a deep breath, before leaning forward and pushing through Mike's many outfits.

I couldn't help but smile when I saw the outfit he wore when he visited me in the hospital after the upside down tucked in the back of the closet. I eventually picked out a neat white dress shirt and put it over my arm, holding it as if I was a waiter holding a cloth. I then bent down to look at the pants, before something white caught my eye.

I pushed aside the pants and I couldnt help but smile when I saw my drawings stacked there on the floor. There was the first picture I drew of him, a self portrait, and some other random drawings I had just shown him.

"Awee, what's this Mike?" I asked, standing up to look at Mike.

"It's nothing!" He spoke quickly and shoved me lightly out of the way to push the pants back over to hide it.

His face was red, and I couldn't help but laugh. God, he was adorable. I loved him.

I watched as he grabbed out a pair of black pants and a belt and handed it to me, and then shooed me out of the room. I walked down the stairs, still giggling, then turned into the basement.

I walked down the stairs and then turned into the bathroom that was down here. I went in and locked the door, before changing out of my clothes into the fancier ones. I folded my old clothes and placed them on the bathroom floor before going to look at myself in the mirror. I tucked my shirt into my pants, and then quickly fixed my hair with my hands.

I smiled and walked out of the bathroom, racing up the stairs again. I knocked on Mike's bedroom door, before I was met with a response;

"Just a second!" He yelled, and I sighed.

Stuffing my hands in my pockets, I stared at the white door before me. I traced the lines carved into the wood, before it slowly opened. Mike stood before me, and I thought I was about to have a heart attack. He was wearing a black dress shirt with gray pants, and god he looked so good in it. I felt my face get hot.

"Nice outfit." I said, trying to draw the attention away from my face and he nodded a thank you. He had a shirt thrown over his shoulder, and it caught my attention.

"What's that?" Mike met my gaze and then followed it to the shirt.

"It's my hellfire shirt. I'm going to wear it just for when we meet up." I shrugged in response, and he then pushed past me.

"Well, let's get going, we need to meet them soon!" I chased after him as he ran down the stairs and out the door.

Eventually, we stopped behind Hawkins high. There were 6 people there; and they were all wearing white shirts with black sleeves with the lettGranters "Hellfire Club" scrawled across them. I watched as Mike quickly threw his on over his dress shirt. I looked back at the club. I knew 3 of the 6 people there. Erica, Lucas, and Dustin were the familiar ones. Once we got up close,  my heart dropped as I realized this was probably a DND club.

"Hi. My name is Will." I hurriedly introduced myself, and one of the guys I didn't know nodded in my direction.

"Sup. I'm Gareth, and the other two are Jeff and." He put out a hand to shake, and I took it but quickly let go after.

"So.. are you guys like a chess club, or-" I wanted to confirm my suspicions so I just went out and asked.

"It's a dungeons and dragons club." Gareth nodded, and I felt like I just got punched in the gut. He said he wasn't going to join another party without me.

I nodded before walking away, trying to hold back the warm tears threatening to spill out.

"Hey! Will, where are you going!?" Mike asked, running over to me.

"Just going for a walk." I responded while looking at the ground.

"Are you ok?" He asked. Those words were it. The tears started spilling out but I quickly walked away before he could see my face.

"I- I'm fine Mike." I responded, trying to not sound like I was crying.

I didn't look back and just started walking. Suddenly I felt an arm on my shoulder.

"Hey wait up." Mike yelled running up to me.

"Wait what's wrong." He asked softly after looking at my face.

"It's nothing." I responded before walking away fast so he wouldn't catch me again.

I got to the forest swiftly and sat down on a tree stump before sobbing quietly into my hands. How could he do this? He promised.
