Yes, Steve added a little heart next to his address when he slipped the note into Eddie's locker, but what made it all even better is the smile he bit back when he saw it. He let out a quiet laugh when Eddie rolled his eyes, watching the boy shut his locker and walk out of the school.

However now Steve was pacing around his living room floor because they hadn't actually picked out a time for Eddie to come over- and he was freaking out.

Why didn't I plan this better? I just said said "oh yeah, we'll hangout" and gave him my address? What kind of dick does that? Shit shit shit shit.

He flopped down on the couch and let out a groan into the cushions, "fuckin stupid." It was only two in the afternoon, but he had been trying to occupy himself all day and now he had nothing else to do but wait.

That was until the doorbell rang and he threw himself off the couch, sprinting to the door and throwing it open.

"Munson."

Eddie looked at him with wide eyes and his brows furrowed, "do I want to know what you've even been doing? Why are you so out of breath?" A smirk fell over his face, "if I tell you will you join me?" Eddie rolled his eyes and turned on the balls of his feet and Steve caught his shoulder before he could walk down the steps. "I'm just kidding, come on."

Eddie huffed but turned around nonetheless and followed Steve inside the house. "I don't think I'm supposed to be in houses like this, your highness. Don't you people breathe a different type of air? Are you sure my lungs can handle it?" He let out a cough and Steve just rolled his eyes at him with an amused smile.

"I'm pretty sure with all the weed you smoke your lungs can take anything at this point." Eddie's hand flew to his heart and he let out a gasp, "I don't know how you could think so bad of me sir. They're recreational only."

Steve laughed and walked the two of them into the living room, telling Eddie to sit down before walking over to the entertainment center. "Alright what do you wanna watch Munson?" He heard a huff behind him, "you say that like I know what you own." His face went red and he grumbled before going over and plopping down on the couch next to Eddie. "You go look then."

It took Eddie about two seconds before he found a movie and popped it into the vcr. Young Frankenstein. How very- Eddie. He looked genuinely excited about it too. "You like this movie or something Munson?" Eddie grumbled back and smacked Steve's arm, "don't be rude to your guest Harrington."

"I'm sorry sweetheart." Steve ruffled his hair and stood up, "you want popcorn?" Eddie eye's lit up at Steve, but he just shrugged his shoulders with a 'sure'. A few minutes later Steve came back with two blankets, a bowl of popcorn, and waters for the both of them.

He threw Eddie's stuff onto his lap and put the popcorn between them, sitting down and curling himself up in the blanket. Eddie threw a few pieces of popcorn into his mouth before turning away from the movie and giving Steve a curious glance. "Harrington?" His eyes moved over to him immediately and Eddie felt held down by his gaze. "Why are you hanging out with me on a saturday, wrapped in a blanket?"

Steve raised an eyebrow and cocked his head, "did you want to join me or-"

"Asshole you know that's not what I meant!" Eddie huffed but almost took his words back when Steve pushed out his bottom lip and shoved himself farther into the couch. "Damn Munson, and here I was thinking you were starting to like me." Eddie settled with rolling his eyes and tried to explain himself, "just- I don't know, don't you have a girl to go flirt with or something? I mean why are you hanging out with me?"

Steve pushed himself back up and looked at Eddie with furrowed brows, "because I want to Munson, stop overthinking it. I'm not messing with you or anything so calm down."
