After my conversation with Changbin, I knew he was in no head space to meet up with our tech on the information they had found. I suggested for him to go back home and rest for a few hours before we head to meet them.
In the meantime I spent my precious time with my lovely friend Park. More like annoying him with questions about the shops he found.
I look at the pictures, swiping through them, and grimace. "I would never let him work in such an environment"
I put the Ipad back on his desk that was in front of me. "Jisung those buildings are brand new—the best we could find at the moment"
Maybe I was being harsh, the places were nice but not nice enough. "You can do better... he deserves better"
"I'll continue looking" He goes back to his computer, and I smiled.
"Great, let me know when you have more for me to look at" I get up from the chair and walk to the door, walking out of the office.
The hall was dimly lit up, and the lights needed to be replaced for a few months now but I think we all put it off until they actually went out.
I walk down the long hall and push open the door to the club. Music filled the space along with hot bodies that swarmed the club.
You would think it wouldn't be as packed on the weekdays but it was just as packed as on the weekends. In reality, people loved to party, no matter the day of the week. I walk to the bar to see a busy Chan.
We had suggested getting two bartenders to work each night but Chan said he likes to be busy. We have another bartender in case Chan was busy with other things... that being illegal things. He has really good aim, which came in handy when needed.
I walk to the bar and lean on it. Chan pours a drink and looks at me, sliding the drink to a random girl before walking toward me. "You shouldn't drink"
"I'm not here to drink" I chuckle and sit on the stool. "I'm here to keep you company"
Honestly, if you didn't figure it out by now, I was utterly bored. I had nobody to keep ME company. No Changbin and no Minho. So here I was, keeping the company instead of receiving it.
He looked at me surprised. "Not a good time Jisung, I'm busy" I sigh loudly as he walks away to a male and a lady, serving them and then moving to a group of girls that giggle as they checked him out while he poured the shots.
"No fun" I groan. Sliding off the stool and walking back out and into the hallway. "I guess I'll go somewhere and to someone who enjoys my company. Ungrateful fucks." I mumble.
I got to the end of the hallway and pushed the door open. With the warm hair hitting my face, summer will be the death of me.
I walk up to my car and get in. Starting it before pulling out—driving away.
When I get to my destination, I park and get out. Hearing the cars pass and chatter from the people walking. I walk up to the familiar cafe and enter without any hesitation.
The bell chimes, making everyone aware of my presence, especially the smiling male at the counter. I pay nobody else a single glance as I walk up to him.
"What a nice surprise" He spoke softly. The cafe played low music but the way he spoke was the only thing I heard.
"What can I say? I was missing you" He rolls his eyes.
"What is the real reason Jisung?"
I chuckle and shake my head. "Fine, I was supposed to be doing work-related things with Changbin but something happened with him and Felix which led to him drinking. I told him to rest for a while to sober up" He nods "But I did miss you"
