12 | Boyfriends?

A few days have passed and I feel like I've gotten little to no sleep.

I wish I could say that my happiness lasted long but soon my thoughts crept back in and the reality of it all hit me. I realized I didn't have time to revel in my happiness when I had promises to keep.

Changbin had said to not let it get to my head but I did exactly that. Every waking moment of my days I wonder when something bad will happen, is it crazy to want something to happen already? At least if it happens then I won't feel like we're all just running around like chickens with their heads cut off.

We had absolutely no leads, all the ones we did have were no longer useful. It seemed like they knew the man talked and changed everything up.

I rub my hands up my face tiredly, "Didn't get much sleep?" I look to Changbin who looks at me briefly as he drove, shaking my head, not having much energy. I didn't tell him how this was affecting me but he seemed to notice it, checking in more to see if I'm good and not drinking or doing something stupid. "I have to stop at the grocery store to pick something up for Felix"

"You can drop me off first-"

"Shut up, it's on the way" The reason I was with Changbin in the first place was that we had to collect money from a few businesses. Changbin always refused to let me drive to these places and I soon gave up asking.

We pull into the store parking lot and he turns off the car.  "Getting off or?" I think for a moment, nodding. Summer is approaching and I was in no way gonna be left in this heat.

I get off the car, not remembering the last time I was actually in a grocery store. I didn't go grocery shopping, hell I didn't even cook more less eat a decent three meals. My lifestyle is unhealthy but that's for me to blame.

We get into the familiar but not so-familiar grocery store and passing by the baskets, I didn't question it because he said he just need to get one thing. "Do you need anything?" Changbin says, I shake my head.

"No" My eyes roamed the store as we walk, it's weird to think people live normal lives—something I forget because everyone in my life is connected to what I do in some way.

We walk down an aisle full of frozen things, Changbin grabbing ice cream. "That's what he wanted?"

Changbin chuckles and nods "We're not the only ones whose been stressed because of work" His eyes shift to behind me, harshly swallowing at whatever he has his eyes on.

I go to turn around but he grabs my arms and pulls me out of the aisle. I look at him confused "What the fuck?". He peaks back in the aisle and lets out a breath, looking back at me. "What was that for?"

"I saw Minho" My eyes light up "But he was with some dude I'm assuming is the boyfriend"

"Blonde?" He nods, I walk past him and back to the aisle. My steps halt at the sight, Minho laughed at something he had said and the other male grabbed his hand with a smile. They both turn my way to continue shopping, I quickly look down grabbing a random ice cream.

"What are you doing?" Changbin whisper-yells beside me.

"Jisung?" I look to the male whose hand was no longer in the others.

"Minho? Heyyy" I try to act surprised, My eyes going to the blonde beside him.

"T-This is Jae" Jae smiled at me while putting his arms around Minho's waist. Though he showed to be nice I could see how he was far from it.

"Jisung, you own that one club we went to the other night right?" I nod, "Shit man, I apologize for how I acted"

I force a smile and wave him off "No worries" I feel Changbin look at me, all the pieces coming together right before his eyes.
