"Did someone have fun last night?" I heard Changbin ask as he walks up from behind me. I sat at the bar as Chan puts new bottles on the shelf. I turn my head to Changbin who sat on the stool next to me "Looks like it but I'm guessing y'all still didn't sleep together?"
I have a questioning look on my face as I say "What?"
He shakes his head "The hickeys are more intense than last time dude, also Felix told me"
My confusion grew "Hickeys, yeah but what does Felix have to do with this?"
Changbin now looked confused but soon his confused look turned into a sly smirk "Minho didn't tell you?"
"No, now tell me"
Changbin puts his hands up in defense "Okay, okay" Chan chuckles but continues to do what he's been doing. "When they were taking shots last night, Felix made a little toast to as he said "getting laid", he told me last night and that's why assumed".
I just stare at him blankly before turning away "Well, we didn't sleep together"
Chan turns around after putting the last bottle up "I didn't expect you to care much about sex"
I shrug "I don't"
"Then why haven't you slept with Minho? From the look of those marks—he wants you" Changbin says.
"He wants to but I'm not ready right now. Sex doesn't mean much to me but with Minho—I don't know I just don't want him to feel like that's all I want from him" Chan nods understandingly as I run my fingers through my hair.
"So you want a relationship with him?"
"I don't want him with anyone else"
"like selfishly don't want him with anyone else or you genuinely only want him with you?" Chan asks.
"Both"
"That's kinda toxic," Changbin says, making all of us laugh.
Chan turns around and grabs some papers from the counter behind him and puts them in front of me "Shipment papers"
I sigh, nodding and looking at Changbin "Do you think this will be a bad idea to expand this far?" I ask him.
He shrugs "If Park thinks this is okay and could bring in more money I don't see why not"
I nod again, looking at the papers in front of me and scanning over the words. Minho running through my mind and how if things go wrong with these shipments then I will my royally fucked. Not just me but Changbin and Chan—everyone involved.
"Everything will be okay, We've dealt with shit like this before, and look at us. We're fine aren't we?" Changbin says.
"Yeah, your right" I couldn't be selfish and not do this due to my worries. This could bring in more money and connections not only for me but for our men. It wasn't like we were broke, we had money—a lot of it but our plans changed so much from when we were teens that started this business. We only had ourselves. Now Changbin is thinking of marriage and most of our men have families now.
Growing up we're all told that money doesn't buy happiness but that's total bullshit. Money buys everything. So I grab the pen and I sign the bottom of the paper without more hesitation. This wasn't for me, it was for my potential future—whatever that was or wherever that will lead. It's for Chan's and Changbin's and all of my men's families' future.
I put the pen down and look to Changbin who grabs the papers and also signs them but he didn't have a ounce of hesitation. That's the thing with him, I knew he knew the risks but still he didn't think of himself. He thought of Felix and supporting him, he didn't care if he got caught as long as Felix was settled. He always told me how he wanted Felix to stop working and that he wanted to support him fully—he knew Felix hated his job.
