Chapter 11: Luring With Worms

JENNIE POV

"WAKE UP!!," I yelled at our captive.

We didn't capture blackbird. But I think we can lure him with the worm. That abandoned building we tracked. As it turns out, it was a hideout for someone. We managed to find someone, someone I knew.

"RM, isn't it," I said.

"Whatever you're going to do to me, I rather die that talk," RM said.

"Oh don't worry I don't have that in mind," I replied.

We had another idea in mind. Well I had, but I'm not sure how Foxtrot will think.

"We're going to use you as bait," I said. "Project it on every news channel, blackbird will come for you."

"Blackbird, ha, why would he come for me. I don't even work with him," RM smirked.

Foxtrot pulled me aside.

"Jennie what are you doing," Foxtrot asked.

"This is how we're going to get blackbird to come here," I explained.

"Jennie we're task force, not the fucking mafia. I could the chief screaming at us if we pull a stunt like this," Foxtrot said.

"But this is the only way," I said.

"Jennie you know there are other ways to do this. The publicly would give task force a bad rep," Foxtrot said. "Jennie, you wouldn't have done this."

I couldn't bear to hear Foxtrot anymore and left the room.

JUNGKOOK POV

"Guys, breakfast is ready," Jimin yelled from downstairs.

Hope and I walked down, and sat at the table. Rosè was cooking up something while I saw Kiana get up as well.

"Good morning sweetie," Jimin said.

"Morning dad," Kiana replied and sat at the seat.

"So what's the plan for today," I asked Jimin.

"Nothing really, I guess the goal is try not to get caught," Jimin said.

"Alright honey, I'm going to work," Rosè said and left.

"Bye mommy," Kiana waved her goodbye.

After breakfast was over, I put my plate in the sink and turned on the TV. As usual the morning weather report came in.

"What's the plan for Hope," Jimin asked me.

"Find here a safe place," I replied.

"Just like that, task force will be hunting her down like a dog," Jimin said.

"We'll make sure she doesn't," I said.

As we were talking, the news switched to something else. Jimin and I saw Jennie and her partner. They weren't alone as the video showed them circling around a guy bagged up.
