A/n hey guys I'm finally back from cheer camp
I will be posting chapters regularly again so enjoy p.s. I'm really tired so there might be a few more mistakes

Y/n's pov

I walked with dally to the nightly double for our date
We've been dating for about a month but we've been friends forever

When we got there we went to the concession stand
And got in line

Maybe my mind was playing tricks on me but I swear I saw dally checking out some soc girl infront of us

I tried to shake it off

We got popcorn and a drink and went to go take a seat

The movie hasn't started yet when I heard someone say

"Ain't no way... y/n? Is that you!"

I turned

"Oh my god Connor!" I said as I get up and give him a hug

Dally stands up too

"It's so good to see you!" I say to Connor
"Yeah you too! It's been what? 2 years?" He said

"Yeah I think so jeez" I replied

"So what's up what's new I thought you were in California?" I asked

"I was, but I'm actually visiting family right now and a few friends and I watched to catch a movie and that's why I'm here" he told me

"Well I'm glad we ran into each other" I smiled

I heard dally cough

So I turned towards him

"Dally this is my friend Connor we went to school together!"

He just nodded his head

Connor put his hand out to give dal a handshake but dally looked at it scoffed and ignored it which irritated me

"We should hang out I leave this up coming Sunday so maybe we could go to the record store on Saturday?" Connor asked me

"I'd love too! Can't wait I'll let you know a good time when I find one out" I told him and we hugged goodbye and he left I sat down and dally said

"I'm not really feeling a movie tonight let's go."

"What we just got here it hasn't even started?" I said

"You can catch the next showing Cmon let's go" he said

"This is so typical of you god what's ur deal" I say as I stand up and begin to walk purposely ahead of him

I found out car and got in and slammed the door shut and looked out the door

After a few minutes I heard the driver door open and shut

I looked over to see him sitting

"You can just take me home" I told him

"Whatever" he said as he lit a cigarette

"What is ur problem!" I say louder than usual

"Ur going on a date with some boy Saturday that's my problem!" He yells back

"Oh brother it's not a date you should know that" I say as I put my hand on my head in disbelief

"Cmon y/n! He kept hugging you and smilin and askin you to hang out!"

"because we are friends! I hang out and hug and smile with the gang but I ain't dating them!" I say back

"That's different." He said sternly

"The only difference is ur not friends with Connor, and if you want you can come with us in Saturday." I say above a whisper

He just sat there I could tell he didn't trust me

"Dal you can trust me, I trust you why can't you trust me? I haven't done anything to make you not trust me. I call you everyday I always tell you who I'm gonna be with where I'm gonna be even tho  you don't ask. If I'm coming at a different time then planned I call. You don't do any of that..." I look at him and he still isn't look at me

"Dal, I'm not Sylvia..." I whisper this just loud enough for him to hear.

"I know...and that's why i worry, you are amazing your beautiful your funny your everything a guy wants and.. ugh it's stupid im scares some other guy will come sweep you off ur feet or something" He said to me

I was a little shocked dally never said anything like that it was one of his first times opening up like that

I gave him the biggest hug and said "don't worry that'll never happen dal." And kissed him
