Days had passed. It's been a week since I took the examination and this is the day kung kailan malalaman yung result. Yes.
"Good morning to all of you. I am Michelle and I had given the permission to announce all the examiners who passed the scholarship exam. "
This is it pansit. I take a sweet glance to my dad showing off my nervous feeling.
"We have here 28 examiners but only 10 passed the exam"
"What?!"
Sabay-sabay naming sabi. Hindi naman nagulat ang mga tao dito. Sanay na siguro sila sa ganung balita. Grabe naman. Sakit sa puso. Nawalan na ko ng pag-asa. Andito pa naman yung frienemy ko. My one and only childhood friend na lagi kong karibal sa lahat ng bagay. Nakakainis.
"Yes. Di kayo nagkamali ng dinig. Only 10 passed. They are Emmy Romero who got 80.2%, Fernando Santiago who got 82%, Romeo Cruz who got 83.5%, Chloe Chua who got 85%.."
"Too close"
Sabi ni Chloe.
"Christian Reyes who got 86%, Arielle Choi who got 87.90%, Trisha Roxas who got 89.5%, Jean Rose Reyes who got 90.5%.."
Pagpapatuloy nung announcer. Shocks. -.-
"Beatrice Chen who got 91.2%.."
What? Natawag na si Bea. Wala bagsak ata ako. Kasi naman di ako prepared eh. Tumingin ulit ako kay Dad. Sobrang lawak pa din ng ngiti niya nakakainis.. bigla namang nagsalita ulit yung announcer.
"And lastly, the one who got the highest score is none other than our president's youngest daughter Ms. Audrielle Castillo with an average score of 96.27%"
OMG! Natalo ko si Bea? All this time ito lang pala makakapagpabago ng lahat? Pagtingin ko kay Bea inirapan niya ko. War freak bitch talaga siya forever.
"What did you say? Did I?.. uhhhmm."
"Congratulations Ms. Castillo you got the grant and as you being on top you will be having great deals with the shareholders of your company also together with the others who passed the examination"
"Is it true? Baka naman po nangyari lang to dahil ako ang anak ng president ng company na to? "
"If you're not really convinced here's your exam paper. I'll return this to you. Pwede na ding remembrance yan dahil bihira ang nagkakaron ng ganitong chance at opportunity."
After that chuchu announcement. Grabe sila. Sobrang saya nila habang ako poker face pa din. Di ako makapaniwala eh. Kahit pinakita samin yung exam papers shock pa din ako. I even compared my answer sheet to the others at wala ngang daya.
I'm here in my room now. I should take a rest. Nakakapagod at stressful tong araw na to pero masaya. I won the game with Bea. *smirk*
-----Andito ko ngayon sa Asian International University (AIU). Mag-aayos na ko ng papers at mag-eenroll. Di na ko nagpasama kina ate. Feeler ako. Kaya ko na to. Sanay naman akong magpakaloner. Hihihi.
