CHAPTER 12.

Finn and Lexie walked into the Inn. Between Sogndal and Gaupne, there is a small road down to the Lustrafjord. This small road winds down through a fairy tale landscape to the emerald green Sognefjord between high mountains and dramatic waterfalls. Suddenly you arrive at a blind end. You have come to the small village of Solvorn, which for a moment may remind us of a small town at the south coast of Norway with small white painted wooden houses and only one main street, but you are in fact still in Sogn, and have arrived at our planned destination, the Walaker Inn.

"Would you like to join me for a drink Alexia?" Finn asked, looking down at her, and motioning towards the seated bar area of the Inn, and Lexie smiled at him, going to take a seat, as Finn watched the tall blonde walk towards a table, appreciating her graceful lithe body.

Finn went to the bar and asked for a bottle of whiskey and two glasses, taking a seat at the table he poured for them both.

"What were you doing at Avaldsnes Haugesund." Finn asked her.

"I had ancestors burnt on the pyres there, I wanted to pay my respects, I do that every few years."

"When were you turned?" Finn questioned, he found her face to be beautiful, her soft looking pouty lips, her hazel green cat shaped eyes, she was of Viking blood, she looked like a Shield Maiden.

"Just over a Century ago, your Wife actually turned me, she came to the Village I lived in Danelow, we had been decimated with a sickness, I had just caught it, Sage took pity on me and turned me, I travelled with her for Years she was an excellent sire, I found my feet as a vampire and eventually left her side to make my own eternal life, she spoke of you often Finn Mikaelson, does she know you are undaggered, and haven't you been daggered for Hundreds of Years?"

"I have, but as you can see, I am no longer, I have seen Sage and we have parted ways." Lexie frowned.

"But she loved you, she was always speaking of you."

"I no longer feel the same for her as I once did, it is a sin to want a different choice." He asked.

"No of course not, if you do not feel for her what you once did then so be it, we are Immortal and our lives long, to beholden to someone you do not wish to be with."

"Precisely." Finn acknowledged.

"Well I'm sorry for Sage, but you seem happy with your decision so here's to your freedom and choices." And they raised their glasses and drank.

"Four Hundred years I had been daggered," Finn admitted.

Lexie her eyes wide "Who did you piss off."

"My Siblings." Finn smirked.

"Ahh the famous Original Mikaelson Family, there is so much rumour about you all, you are like a famous myth or fable, I was surprised to run into you here, I thought you all lived in a Castle and kept hidden."

Finn laughed, "We do." Lexie smirked.

"You haven't survived Five Hundred Years being careless makes sense."

"And you Alexia Brandt, what do you do with your time, when not visiting your ancestors?"

"I go from sick village to sick village or the war battlefields tending to the sick and dying, hoping to give their last moments some comfort, and I feel I am making my Immortality mean something." She told him with a smile.

"That is worthy, do you like your vampirism?"

"I love it, I live through changing times, I can see the ever changing World in any Country I travel too, I love the strength, the speed, the heightened senses, the blood."
