GOING BACK.

CHAPTER 8.

The following morning Hayley dressed in her specially made leather pants and blousey Men's shirt leaving herself corset free, and it felt so good to be unrestricted and to be able to breathe easily without the whalebones digging into her ribcage, she put on her boots specially handmade and felt normal, the freedom of body movement bringing a smile to her face, and knowing that Rebekah and Elijah knew who she was, she felt comfortable enough to dress as she preferred, which in this time meant dressing as the Men did, those big bloody dresses annoyed Hayley and made movement constrictive.

Walking to the dining room she greeted Andie and Nick with a kiss on the cheek,

"Morning," She said with a smile to Freya and Keelin, "Are you on Parenting duty this morning?" 

"Yes we let Vincent sleep in he looked so comfy in the big bed, we decided we would run after the rascals, we thought we would walk the Estate maybe go meet some of the people who live on the Estate, there is a whole Village of them here." Keelin said, "Do you want to join us?" She asked Hayley.

"I do, just let me see what Hope's plans are for the day." Hayley responded piling eggs and bacon and small sausages on her plate, she loved the breakfast they served in the Castle, getting herself a cup of coffee with cream and sitting down as Hope bounced into the room with a wide smile and hugged and kissed her Mom then her cousins, kissed her Aunts Freya and Keelin and went to Finn's coffin,

"Morning Uncle Finn, it is a beautiful morning in York today, the sky is blue and cloudless the Sun is shining and it has warmth to it, this breakfast is amazing like it is every morning, your Sister Freya is here with her Wife Keelin and their two children Nicholas and Andrea, and Andie has already had her hair brushed and braided, she didn't run through the Castle trying to get away this morning," And the Adults laughed while Andie scowled, then went back to eating her toast, "My Mom Hayley is here, she's Married to your Brother Niklaus, I'm Hope their Daughter, long story, we are from the future back in time and you will be waking up soon, and we are all looking forward to seeing you again." Hope said stroking the coffin, and looked up to see her Uncle Elijah standing in the doorway watching her.

"Morning Uncle Elijah," Hope greeted him on her way to the buffet to fill her plate with breakfast.

"Good Morning Hope, Freya, Keelin Hayley, Andrea, and Nicholas, " He greeted them all with a smile as he went to pour himself a coffee, and turned to Hope,

"You are a compassionate young Woman," He said sitting down, and looking at Hope, "I had never realised this occured after being daggered so long, will Finn recover?" Elijah asked.

"Oh yeah he'll be fine after a while, he'll have Freya and hopefully Sage will get our message and come, in out time she waited 900 years for him, he is the love of her life, and she is his, you can't tell me love doesn't heal most wounds." Hope beamed.

"I agree Hope that is a beautiful sentiment." Elijah agreed, he enjoyed his new Family very much they were so light filled, joyous, and cohesive together, and he could feel the love they had for one another, and there appeared to be little darkness in them, when he felt, his siblings and he had too much darkness and not enough light.

"Your very happy today sweetie, good night?" Hayley teased, smiling at Hope.

"I told Raf who I really was, he has vowed to keep it a secret, their should be no lies between us, I've sent a letter to the wolf Village for him to visit here, I want to introduce him to Dad." And the table became silent at Hope's words.

"That is the right thing to do, your Dad should meet him, and Raf is from this time, if you are in a relationship with Raf, then he will need to be respectful of your Dad's wishes regarding seeing you Hope." Hayley said gently.
