"You looked like you couldn't breathe over there," Liu Jian said as he picked on his food.

After his rescue, we relocated way over to the other side of the dining hall.

"Yes, thank you for helping me out..." I gazed down at my half-eaten dumplings with an expressionless look. Since earlier, I felt like I was forcing myself to swallow. Perhaps I'm just sensitive, but I finally lost my mood to finish my lunch.

"If you're not going to eat them, give them to me."I heard Liu Jian's mellow voice making me glance up to have eye contact with him. "That's better. You're not going to eat these, right?" He said while he brought my tray closer to his side of the table.

I nodded, then asked a curious question, "What do you mean by 'that's better?'

"That you're looking at me. My old man always used to tell me to look people in the eye when you're having a conversation with them." He grinned. "Or you're a pussy."

"...Wow. Your old man sounds like a chad." I laughed, "I guess I'm in trouble."

"Why?" He stopped eating and curiously looked at me.

"Because then I'll need a map. Cuz I'll just keep getting lost in your eyes." I finger gunned at him before covering my red face. "Sorry, that was embarrassing." Cringe.

"Wow. So this is what you're like." Liu Jian chuckled after looking at me in bewilderment.

I waved my hand, "No, it's the last time you'll see this side of me. Once I'm done hanging out with you in the arcade today, let's forget we know each other."

"Impossible. Zhao Sheng, wait here a second." Liu Jian abruptly left and minutes later came back with an apple in his hand. "At least eat this."

"..." I don't like fruits.

"Don't be picky." Liu Jian shoved the apple inside my mouth. "Eat."

Under his hot gaze, I begrudgingly ate the apple.

Something inside of me just couldn't believe that what just transpired was only half of the day. I suppose some days just feel like forever. Don't tell Liu Jian, but a tiny part of me is looking forward to hanging out in the arcade. Though, at the moment, I'm still stuck in the classroom with Mr.Perfect.

I'm no longer surprised that he was my new deskmate again. People began to notice such weird changes that I could feel their lovely eyes on me. I wished I had a fork so I could gouge their cute eyes out. My sharp pencil will do, but I don't want to get it dirtied. Anyways, I'm quite relieved that Mr. Perfect didn't do anything for the whole class.

Then the following two classes were the only classes that I don't get to see his bitchy face. Then, last class, we're back to being deskmates...I really really underestimated the word "most."

I finally heard the school bell ring that felt like angels singing, saving me from this hell.

"Zhao Sheng, you're just a pushover, aren't you?" Zhou Mu sneered in a low voice.

I smiled at him, "Yes, Zhou Mu. I hope you have a nice day too." Passing by him on my way to the door, I heard him click his tongue, "Tsk." The next thing I knew, my feet caught on something, and I felt myself falling forward.

This bastard.

I extended my arm to soften the landing, but I didn't land correctly, causing me to cry out in pain. In my humble opinion, everyone should learn and practice how to fall safely. You never know when it would become helpful.

"...Are you alright?!" Zhou Mu asked worriedly. The guy should really become an actor because, from the tone of his voice and his facial expression, no one would believe that he tripped me.
