"Apologize, and I'll forget that this ever happened," I calmly said while I watched Liu Jian disarm the girl, taking the rock and throwing it back on the ground. Looking at Liu Jian's bruised-up face, he probably got into a fight - perhaps was the reason he was a no-show today.

"Why should I apologize?" The girl shifted her eyes away from me, then looked pleadingly at her prince charming, Zhou Mu.

Perhaps due to the familiarity of her words, I started chuckling, "I think you two will make a good couple. Well then, if you're not going to apologize, I'm off to report this incident."

Unlike Zhou Mu tripping me, this incident has eyewitnesses. In the corner of my eye, I see a couple of students watching her foolish theatrics.

"Don't you know who my mom is?! I'll have you expelled!" The girl erupted in anger.

I want to laugh, sorry. This is just a classic!

"Classmate, you're making a big scene. Please stop and apologize to Zhao Sheng." Zhou Mu showed his signature angelic smile to the feisty little girl, making her feel embarrassed.

"Well, since A Mu asked. Sorry. Happy now?" The girl looked smug.

A Mu? Bahaha! What a close way to call him!

"This bitch." I heard Liu Jian say next to me.

"Classmate, what's that you're holding?" Zhou Mu pointed at the letter in her hands.

"This...This is actually for you, A Mu!" The girl used two hands to hand over the letter.

"Oh?" Still maintaining that smiling face, he received the letter. Though, the next thing shocked everyone in the courtyard. In front of the girl's silly face, Zhou Mu ripped the letter in half.

"A Mu? Who are you again? Since when have we become so close? Please don't bother us anymore."

The girl took a second to process what was happening. Her face turned blue, not believing what her crush just said before turning red. Her face scrunched up, and she started hideously crying.

"...Let's go."  Zhou Mu unexpectedly took my hand, then fled the scene.

"Hey, wait up."  Liu Jian called behind us.

When there were no more spectators, Zhou Mu released my hand in disdain. "You know I didn't do that for you."

"I know," I said while looking at the hand that he was holding just now. "Your hand is sweaty."

"Shut up." Zhou Mu's complexion doesn't look good. I could see the beads of sweat forming on his forehead that slowly slid down his jaw.

Liu Jian, "Is he okay?" The distinct mockery in his voice clearly meant he wasn't asking the question out of worry.

"I should also be asking you that." I looked at him up and down. His clothes looked a bit ruffled, and he had a small scratch on the corner of his forehead. I shrugged, "He's just being a big baby." He just broke character in front of those people, which put a little stain on his perfect reputation.

I walked to a vending machine nearby and bought a bottle of water. "Hey, big baby. Here." I pressed the cold water bottle on his cheek, jolting him.

Zhou Mu frowned at me, "I don't need your pity."

"Whatever, take it. The emotional damage you gave to that girl is so much that I don't think reporting the accident is needed." I glanced at Liu Jian at the side. "I just realized you're not putting up your facade in front of him."
