Y/n's POV
"They're so cute!"
"Should we wake them up?"
"Nah, let them sleep for a little longer. They deserve it"
"Fri, you're getting pictures, right?"
"Of course, ugly katniss everdeen"
I gave out a tired groan and opened one of my bleary eyes, only to find myself surrounded by the one and only avengers, who were trying to act like they weren't staring at us for the past who knows how long
"Wha-?" I muttered, as I crawled out of bed, only to be obstructed by the person lying next to me, who was still very much sound asleep
Mr. Stark lay peacefully on the bed, his eyes closed, and his arm, which I had just shrugged off my shoulders lying haphazardly by his side
That's when the memories of last night came flooding back to me. The nightmare, Mr. Stark coming in the middle of the night, oh my god... did I actually cry in front of him? Well, it wasn't like it hadn't happened before. At this point he would've seen me do literally all the embarrassing things I could've ever done.
I stared back at the avengers, who were all talking among themselves, a couple looking slightly embarrassed to be caught spying on us, and then I looked back at Mr. Stark in the bed, who was still surprisingly asleep.
He must've been really tired after last night.
It probably wasn't going to be long before he woke up though, with all the racket that the avengers were making
"You up for some breakfast, kid?" Miss Romanoff asked, as I slowly sat up in the bed, still feeling kind of drowsy. That was definitely the greatest sleep I had got in ages, "We were all gonna go out and get some shawarma or something, that's why we came by here in the first place"
"Shawarma?!?" A voice exclaimed behind me, sounding outraged "You were going to let me sleep through shawarma?!? You guys know I love it"
"We weren't going to let you miss out, Tony" Mr. Barton said, rolling his eyes, "Pepper just thought you two could use a bit more sleep. And she was right, you both still look tired. What were you two up to last night?"
Mr. Stark turned around to look at me and I slightly shook my head. It was bad enough having Mr. Stark know about my full on breakdown last night, but all of the avengers? They would probably think I was weak and a baby, and that was the last thing I wanted.
"Uh... we were up late watching something on the TV" Mr. Stark said quickly, and I gave him a grateful smile
"Oooh, what were you watching?" Miss Potts asked, sounding interested
"Um... the cops one, Brooklyn Nine Nine" I said, talking about that show that I had watched that night that Mr. Stark and Happy caught me
"Ha! I knew you always loved that one!" Mr. Barton exclaimed to Mr. Stark, who rolled his eyes dramatically
"Okay, are we going or not?" Miss Romanoff asked, starting to sound impatient
"Yeah, yeah" Mr. Stark groaned, getting out of the extremely comfy beanbag and pulling me to my feet as well
"At the van, in five" Mr. Barton ordered, as the others began to leave the room
As I was following Mr. Stark, I asked, "What van? Aren't we going in a car?"
"You think all ten of us are fitting in a car, kiddo?" He laughed as we entered the lift, "Garage, Fri" he asked, and the lift began to move downwards
I raised my eyebrows to make him elaborate. If we weren't taking a car, what van were we taking?
