I'm a Yakuza boss's mate!?!

Chapter 1: A Night Out

The bright pink sky of the setting sun for some reason gave Zenitsu a feeling of dread that he couldn't explain. Normally he was rather fond of the colors that accompanied the sun as it set, it reminded him of his home in the country where he lived with his gramps. But after his gramps had died he moved to the city of Tokyo, he was sad for a while after he first got here. Luckily he had made friends with his roommate. He wasn't sure he would be friends with them considering what his second gender is. In this world omega's were no longer looked down on but that doesn't mean people weren't still prejudiced against them. Yes Zenitsu was an omega and he was very self conscious about it. He didn't know why god had decided to make him an omega; he just hoped that his mate would love him.

When he was first moved to this big city he struggled to find a place to live. He had a friend here that let him stay on their couch but that wasn't a solution. So, needing to find a place to call his home and after some searching for about a month he found an aid that looked promising. It was placed by his now roommate Tanjiro who was also an omega and their other roommate Inosuke who was a beta. The three of them became fast friends and did a lot together. Zenitsu was quite taken by Tanjiro's younger sister Nezuko, who he later found was already seeing Inosuke. Unlike her brother Nezuko was a beta and therefore she was most likely to date a beta. Zenitsu had no chance with her.

Pushing his feelings of dread and nostalgia aside he continued to get dressed for his plans for the evening. It being July he dressed a little on the lighter side. He chose a yellow and orange shirt that had white triangles on it, he got this shirt from his gramps. He loved it so much, so he decided to wear it tonight. It was Tanjiro's birthday and since he was now 20 Zenitsu was taking him out to get his first drink. Tanjiro's family all passed away except for him and Nezuko in an unfortunate accident. So as the best friend Zenitsu believed it was now his duty to help Tanjiro celebrate becoming a legal adult. Inosuke would be coming but he had to work tonight, however he was a waiter in a bar called The Flashy Sound. To make it feel like Inosuke is included they are going to Flashy Sound for Tanjiro's first drink.

After taking another look at himself in the full length mirror, Zenitsu smiled. He was wearing his yellow and orange shirt, black ripped skinny jeans, and orange high top sneakers. He loved his look except for one part that he was forced to wear, an omega collar that was black with gold details. He felt like he was announcing I'm an omega look at me. He shook his head and left his room, this wasn't the night to be moping around. He made his way through the hallway that connected the three rooms of this apartment to Tanjiro's room. He knocked on the door and waited for a response.

"Come on in Zenitsu." Tanjiro called through the door. Zenitsu opened the door and walked in. He saw his friend wearing a black tank top with a green and black checker overtop, he had on dark blue jeans and plain black sneakers. He also had an omega collar but his was green with silver details.

"Ready?" Zenitsu asked his friend with a smile.

"Yup." Tanjiro answered, returning the smile.

"Great! I'm so excited, you got your ID?" Zenitsu started to leave the room as he talked.

"Yeah I have my wallet." Tanjiro said as he patted his pants pocket.

"I got mine too, so we should be ready to go." Zenitsu walks past the living room and kitchen making his way to the front door, Tanjiro was right behind him.

The two friends walk out of the apartment and start walking to the train. The bar was half way between their apartment and their university. Zenitsu, Tanjiro, and Inosuke all went to the same University. They were all studying different things. Zenitsu was going for economics, Tanjiro was going for education, and Inosuke was going to play baseball and was hoping to go pro. Tanjiro and Zenitsu walked for about 5 minutes when they finally arrived at the station. They only had to wait for about another 5 minute before their train pulled up. Quickly they got on the train and took their seats. It was about 10 minutes before the station that they needed was called. Zenitsu and Tanjiro got off the train and started walking towards the bar. Zenitsu looked at his phone checking to make sure they were heading in the right direction. Soon enough they were standing in front of a flashy looking building that had a bright sign that read Flashy Sound.

"This it?" Tanjiro asked.

"Yes." Zenitsu said triple checking his phone. Zenitsu looked up from his phone and the sense of dread filled him again. The more he focused on the feeling the more, he realized it was less of a sense of dread and more of something he couldn't place. But he knew that something was going to happen soon and he was pretty sure he wasn't going to like it.
