Chapter 2 : True Colors

Ekkos is flying over the buildings of the undercity approaching the junkyard. He prepares himself for an ambush. He thought to himself. "Silco would never give the location up that easily, not if he doesn't have plans. I better watch out." As Ekko lands outside of the turbine he sees bright lights glowing blue. As he examines the turbine he sees a sleeping Powder laying down on a couch.

"Huh Silco was telling the truth" Ekko slowly glides in trying not to wake Powder. "How does she sleep with all these lights on?" Ekko searches around the place looking for things. He walks over to Powder who lays completely passed out. The wet rag has fallen off her face. Ekko realizing it's for the nasty bruise he caused he lifts and outs the rag back on her head.

He sits down next to her patting her head when she starts to wake up. Ekko however doesn't realize this and keeps patting her head. When he looks over to see a smiling Powder looking at him. He jumps in shock seeing her awake.

She gets up pulling Ekko back down on the couch. "So how'd you find me?" Ekko shrugs, "well I paid your friend a visit" rolling his eyes. Powder's face turns to a shocked, worried face. "You, you attacked Silco?" Ekko put his arm around Powder. "I only threatened him, I even tried asking him politely but he was stubborn." Powder quickly runs over to her work station picking everything that she needed in a satchel. Ekko, confused, walked over to her. "What's wrong Powder?" "He knows we're both here. We have to go quickly."

Ekko runs over holding the bag for her as she throws her valuables in the bag. Then Ekko pulled out his board. The both of them hopped on. Thankfully the board, yet slow, was able to carry both of them with all of Powder's Items. As the two were flying Ekko looked at Powder who was holding onto him. "So, is this Powder or Jinx?" Powder looked up with a smile on her face. "Powder." Ekko smiled back as the flew near Ekko's secret entrance to the Firelight's base.

As the two snuck in and made their way to Ekko's room. Closing the door Powder walkede over laying on his bed. "Wow, for people in the undercity you have really comfortable beds." Ekko chuckled while sitting down next to Powder. "We stole them from topside." "No wonder they're so comfy, I could lay here for days." Powder looks over at Ekko as Ekko looks back at her. "Thanks for not hitting me the third time." Just then the both of them closed their eyes leaning in for a kiss.

Three minutes later Scar walked into the room. "Hey Ekko we fou" He stared at the completely naked Ekko and half naked Powder in bed with each other. Scar's eyes began to shut as he fell back and passed out completely. Ekko and Powder both looked at each other, then back at Scar. They both hopped out of bed getting dressed quickly. Powder running into the bathroom wiping her face off then running back out just as Scar began to wake up. Ekko stood over him helping him get up.

He drags Ekko outside as Powder sits and watches from the bed. "WHAT is SHE doing here!" Scar said to Ekko pointing to the door. "So you're just banging Jinx now?" Ekko looks back at Scar. "One her name is Powder, and two we're not Banging we're just simply engaging in sexual activities, we never even did anything yet." Scar slapped Ekko. "You know how many people she has Killed." "Listen, that wasn't her, that was Jinx. Inside that room is Powder. The same girl with the blue hair that's on the mural at the bottom of the tree."

After Scar realizes who he's talking about he sighs. "Listen man, I won't say anything but if she gets caught it's all on you." He pokes Ekko's chest as he walks away. Ekko walks back in and sits back down next to Powder. "So thankfully he kinda understands the situation. But you'll have to hide out here for a while." Powder reaches over and hugs Ekko. "Thank you so much Ekko." She says, beginning to cry. Ekko grips her tightly, rubbing her back. "Everything is going to be ok Pow-Pow."

"Now, can we get back to what we were doing?" Powder pulls away from Ekko. Ekko chuckles. :Sadly no, I have to go present the gemstone to the council. So wish me luck." Powder kisses Ekko as he leaves, jumping out the Tree flying away. As she sees him fly away Powder blushes, hugging herself. As Well as curling her knees into her face.

Ekko flies out his secret entrance and flies over the river meeting up with Vi and Cait as they walk to the Council building. Carrying the gemstone. Vi throws him the case with the Gemstone inside. "Hey Vi, when we get there can I speak to you privately?" Vi nods to Ekko. Once they arrive and climb the stairs to the entrance to the building Vi and Ekko step to the side.

"What's up little man." Ekko rubs the back of his head. "Well, Powder is back fully." Vi's eyes widened. "I also did something I don't think you'll be happy about." Vi's face turns stern. "What did you do?" Ekko gives a smile. "Well me and her kissed on the bridge and eventually when we were in my room." Vi nods with a Angry expression on her face to continue. "I, kind of had... Sex with her, well actually we never did anyt-"

Vi's face froze, "Did you just say you. FUCK MY SISTER!" Ekko's face turned scared as Vi swung at his face. He dodged it running away towards Cait. Eventually Vi cools down, still keeping distance from Ekko.

Powder lays down in Ekko's bed staring at the ceiling before walking over to her bag and looking in her bag looking for something. She sits on her bed pulling out some clothes. A pair of Jeans and two T-shirts, one being ripped at the chest down. The under shirt was blue when her top one was purple. She undressed, bringing these clothes to Ekko's shower and getting in setting the clothes on the Sink.

She turns on the water in the shower stepping in. Grabbing Ekko's soap and lathering it all over her body. Using her hair shampoo and other products from her bag. Then letting the water run the suds off her skinny scarred body. Making sure to scrub every crevice she steps out of the shower using one of Ekko's towels to dry off. Still nude she walks over and lays on Ekko's bed stretching out, she sits up and starts to work with her hair.

Powder takes scissors cutting off her hair length up to her hips.. Then she ties her hair into one braid behind her. She then lays out taking up all the space on his bed as the door opens. She quickly grabs a pillow sitting up covering herself. Just for Ekko to stand in the doorway shocked to see Powder completely naked. Sitting on his bed.

He walks over sitting next to her. Powder is still extremely uncomfortable showing her body to Ekko. "I'm not looking Powder." he assures her. She puts the pillow back. "Ekko looks over, staring into her eyes. "Vi knows you're back. Thought you should know.' He looks back down with a frown on his face. Powder leans on him, putting her head on his shoulder rubbing herself against him. "What happened, you seem sad." "Vi thinks we've had sex and she hates me right now. But on the good news the Council has agreed to help get rid of Shimmer."

Powder gaining the confidence straddles on Ekko's lap not afraid anymore. "She'll come around Ekko. Now why don't we make her theories correct. She boops his nose. Pushing him down she starts undressing him, pulling down his pants. Ekko's face turns a bright red when his eyes rolls into the back of his head.
