Chapter 5 : A baby

Ekko walks Powder up to his room allowing her to stay the night as they get everything situated. After Ekko closes the door leaving Powder alone. After Powder changes into a more "Comfortable" clothes she lays on his bed only with her thoughts. She lays back staring at the ceiling, she moves sideways laying down in the bed. Arms crossed behind her head, both legs fully extended. "What's going to happen now? What if he leaves me due to what I've done, I'd deserve it to. I've done too many awful things for him just to forget about it."

Ekko walks down into the bunker. "Everyone, the situation has been dealt with. You're all allowed to come out now" he turns walking out of the bunker. Followed by all the Firelights.

As Ekko walks out he lays down on the nearest bench laying his head back on the wall behind him. Scar walks up sitting next to him. "So, what happened?" Ekko turns to face Scar. "All you need to worry about is that Silco will never step foot here in his lifetime. She saw to that." Scar's eyes open wide, turning away from Ekko. "Is she here now?" "For the time being, she really doesn't have anywhere to stay."

"Look Ekko, I was looking after people." "Well she's done more to help us than we have ourselves. Goodnight Scar." Ekko gets up from the bench and walks to the tree. Scra sighs before getting up and going to his room. Ekko opens the door to his room, finding a sleeping Powder. As he walks over and starts undressing Powder's eye cracks open with a grin growing on her face. Ekko turns around Powder's face and goes back to sleep. He walks over getting into bed. As Ekko closes his eyes drifting into sleep, Powder sits up.

Staring at Ekko as he sleeps peacefully Powder can't help but let a tear fall out of her eye. "What if he doesn't love me anymore? No-No he wouldn't just change his mind just like that. I mean he did save me. That has to be something, Well he isn't the only one that could be keeping secrets." Powder then lays down hugging Ekko as she drifts off holding onto him.

It's been about three months. Ekko has revealed Powder to the Firelights and after proving herself most of the Firelights have come to accept her as a victim of Silco. Ekko has been noticing Powder's mood swings as she can go from happy to sad and crying a lot more often. When Powder walks in the room Ekko greets her. As she looks through her stuff Ekko speaks up. "Hey Pow, is everything alright?" "Yeah everything's fine, why?" Ekko raises his eyebrow. "Well I've been noticing some changes recently." Powder takes her head out of her bad with a shocked face.

She walks over and sits next to him. "What changes?" Ekko looks at this hands. "Well first, I don't want to sound rude but your stomach has started growing and also you've started eating more. Then you've been crying more. Are you depressed?" As he looks at her she has the most offended look on her face. "I-I'm sorry Pow, that was really rude of me-" She's interrupted by Powder. "You wanna know why I've been acting this way?" Ekko nods. "Well it's a secret." powder pokes Ekko's nose as she jumps up from the bed stepping out the door board in hand.

"Also I'm not fat, I just got a baby in here." She rubs her stomach while laughing as she jumps off the tree flying away. Ekko sits there in shock. "Is she being serious?' Powder flies away towards Piltover. She purchase herself on a building watching Vi and Caitlyn walk down the street. Vi hasn't spoken to Ekko since the council and Powder since the bridge. All Vi could know is her sister turned crazy again. Only being told by Ekko that she was not crazy.

Powder follows them as they walk. Vi has completely destroyed all of the Shimmer factories destroying the Shimmer business in the undercity. Vi since then has joined the enforcers falling under Caitlyn who was the new sheriff after Marcus's death. "So have you heard anything from Jayce about Silco's whereabouts?" Cat asked Vi looking at her as they stopped walking. "Not yet, we have a theory that he may have died in that explosion a couple months back but no remains were found."

Just then Vi looked up at the roof closest to them. "We're being watched." Stepping back from the sidewalk staring at the roof. "Um, I don't see anyone." Vi chuckles at Cait's comment. "Well you never lived in the Undercity Cupcake." Caitlyn rolled her eyes while looking at the roof until she bumped into a hooded figure behind them. She turned around, "Oh I'm so sorry." Vi looked over at the figure who hadn't looked at either of them.

Vi then grabbed the cloak, yanking it off of the person. "POWDER!" Powder looked over in shock, "Oh, hi Vi-" Vi reached over hugging her little sister. "Where have you been?" "Around." As Vi backs away she looks over Powder. "I gotta say, the older look looks good on you Pow." Powder looks away. "Thanks." As Vi looked over Powder her face filled with shock. "Pow, are you pregnant?" Powder looked back at Vi. "Why is everyone asking me that, of course I am."

Vi began crying happy tears hugging Powder. "Oh Pow-Pow how far along are you?" "I think three months." Caitlyn, getting bored, laid herself against a lamp post expecting to be there for a while. As the two talked Caitlyn began to doze off when Vi pulled her in. "Well Pow it's been great seeing you but me and cupcake have to get going. As the two walked off Powder stood there feeling a betrayed feeling while looking at that Caitlyn girl.

Powder hopped on her board flying away towards the undercity. Ekko has been sitting on a bench for around three hours thinking about what Powder said. "What she said was that she being serious. I mean a bloated stomach with her eating and emotions. It has to make sense, I'm gonna be a dad. Unless it's someone else's when she was Jinx." As he thought that Powder fell from the sky landing beside him on the bench. "HI" she said, looking at Ekko. Ekko looked up at Powder as the two shared a kiss. "Hey Pow-Pow, I-I Know you're pregnant." Ekko said. Powder's face went into a surprised expression. "Is it mine or someone else's?"

Powder moved herself straddling Ekko with her legs crossed behind his back. Smiling, staring into Ekko's eyes, "It's your Ekko." Ekko smiled as they began kissing this time with a bit more pressure as Powder wrapped her hands to the back of Ekko's head pulling him in. Thankfully the two were in a more secluded area. With no Firelights watching, the two began making moves. Ekko moved his hands down from her back to her thighs. As Powder moved away from the kiss. "I-I don't think we should do anything now. Pushing his hands away from her.

"Oh ok, whatever makes you comfortable Pow-Pow." They both smiled at each other as Powder kissed Ekko's forehead hopping off his lap she walked away signaling him to follow her. Ekko got up sand started following Powder. As he followed he met eyes with Scar, they hadn't spoken or even looked at each other since the bench talk. Then Powder grabbed Ekko's hand, pulling him up the tree. As she opened the door Ekko walked in confused on what she wanted him for. "Close your eyes." She said as she was in the closet. Ekko followed and closed his eyes. Just then Powder walked out of the closet. She placed an object in his open hands. "Ok, Open your eyes." As he opened his eyes he saw a white mask in the shape of an owl. Similar to his but not completely the same.

"I made my own Firelight mask!" She said while hugging Ekko. Ekko smiled while hugging her back. When they pushed away from each other Ekko placed the straps around her head putting the mask on. She raised the mask. "Also I talked with Vi a couple hours ago, did you know she's an Enforcer." Ekko with a stern face looked down at Powder. "I did not know this." "I also think she's banging that other chick he hangs out with."

Ekko laughs until he realizes that Powder wasn't laughing. "You're serious about this?" "Yeah, and I don't like it one bit. That Enforcer screams bad news." "Well couldn't you also say that with us, I mean you did kill a lot of my friends." Powder's face turned to a frown as she fell back onto his bed turning and putting her face into his pillow, "OH I'm sorry Pow, I didn't mean it like that." Powder began crying into the pillow as Ekko tried calming her down.

He rubbed her back up and down trying to comfort her. As he was rubbing he came a little too close to her ass before she got up swatting his hand. "To close Ekko." She said while wiping the tears away. "I'm sorry Pow." He said that as they both hugged on the bed. "I'm sorry Ekko..."
