Katie and Jase were decorating for Michael's birthday party. They were hanging streamers and blowing up balloons.

Sadie walked in with a huge birthday cake and Jackson had a piñata that he was going to hang in the backyard. Things were running smoothly.

" You know, man. You are rich, why not hire someone to decorate for you." Jackson joked.

"I should, but then that takes the fun out of it." Jase teased back. "Come on, I will help you hang it up. I have the perfect tree for that."

The men walked out into the yard leaving the women inside to finish decorating.

Children were arriving early and already running through the yard. Parents were joining them and sitting out by the pool having some cocktails.

It was warm and breezy and made a beautiful day for a party.

Sadie was staring at Katie with glee in her eyes. Something was on her mind.

"Is everything ok, Sadie?" Katie snapped her fingers.

Sadie grinned with eagerness. " Well, I didn't want to take anything away from you, but I found out this morning, that I am pregnant."

Katie was excited. They were going to have children growing up together. "Sadie! Yay... I am so happy for you."

"I thought I might be because I am late and I went to the clinic this morning and the test was positive. I am only about 8 weeks though."

"That is wonderful. We will get to raise our babies together." Katie walked over and hugged Sadie.

A crash came from inside the living room. A little girl had dropped her cup on the floor and spilled her juice all over herself. She was crying.

Katie walked over to her and patted her head. "It's ok, sweetie. Accidents happen."

"I'm sorry." She sniffled with her tiny voice.

Jase came in and started cleaning the mess. Katie took the little girl to the sink and cleaned her up the best she could.

"My mommy will be mad that I made a mess." The little girl sobbed.

"It will be our secret," Katie whispered and winked at the little girl.

The girl smiled and hugged her and then ran outside all cheerful again.

Jase winked at Katie and slowly walked over to her and pulled her close to his chest.

"You are the most loving person that I have ever known." He passionately kissed her in front of the sink.

Jackson cleared his throat to get the couple's attention. "Sorry guys, but we have a crowd of little people out there that are ready for some piñata fun."

Katie and Jase laughed and walked out behind Jackson.

The party was going well. The kids had such a great time smashing the piñata and playing in the bounce house. Some of the children were running through the yard playing freeze tag, others were playing on the swings. It ran smoothly.

"Mommy?" Michael ran over with cake on his face. "Can my friend spend the night?"

Katie took a napkin from the table and wiped his face. "If it is ok with his parents then that is fine with me."

He got so excited that he ran away to find his friend.

Jase had snuck up around Katie and wrapped his arms around her waist. "How are you feeling? Are you tired?"
