Jase and Katie were finally going to get to come home. They named their daughter Athena. Her name meant Greek Goddess of war and wisdom.

When they got home, Michael, Sadie, Jackson, and Dave were all there to welcome them home with their new baby girl.

Michael was a little shy when they got there. He stayed in the back.

Katie sat on the couch. She was a little sore from being thrown around before delivery, but once Athena was healthy enough to come home, they were ready.

Jase walked over to Michael who was stand-offish. "Come here, don't be scared." Jase sat down and held Michael on his lap. "This is your sister Athena."

Michael leaned over and looked at the baby. He started laughing.

Jase giggled at him. "What's so funny?"

"She's little, daddy."

"Yes, she is and that is why you and I must always protect her and mommy. We are the men of the house."

Michael looked at the baby again. Then he looked at Katie. "She's pretty like you mommy."

Katie held her arm out to hug him. "And you are my very handsome son. I love you so much."

"I love you too, and I love daddy and I love Atina..." He struggled to say her name.

Everyone chuckled at him.

"Would you like to hold her?" Katie asked.

Michael nodded yes. Jase sat him steady on the couch. Katie stood up and placed Athena on his lap. "Easy, we have to support her head because she cannot hold it up. "She helped position his arm under her head.

Michael had a huge grin on his face as he kissed his little sister on the cheek.

Katie already loved watching him with her. He was going to be a good big brother.

Later that evening after everyone left and Michael was asleep, Katie and Jase went upstairs to put the baby in the crib.

Katie began to sob although she tried not to, she couldn't stop. Jase wrapped his arms around her from behind and placed his chin on her shoulder. "What's the matter, Beautiful."

She wiped her cheek. "I know Dylan was horrible, but he seemed to try to change and I can't help feeling bad that he is dead and he died protecting us."

"You never have to feel bad for caring or even missing him. He was a big part of your life and I know it hurts you that he is gone." He kissed her cheek softly.

She turned and face him. Her eyes were still glossy and saddened. "I am so grateful that we have you. You are my soulmate."

He pressed his lips to hers. "I could never imagine a life without the 3 of you."

She kissed him once more.

"Let's get you in bed. I will take care of the baby tonight while you sleep." Jase helped her in bed.

Katie finally felt safe and knew she would get a good night's sleep.

A few months later after everything had happened, Jessica had finally recovered after getting away. No one could find her. She had help from many people that were on her side. People would do anything for the right price.

Jessica had met a mysterious man in a Dark Alley. She had a better plan this time and she would not fail.

"Does she know about you?" Jessica asked suspiciously.

"I am not sure what she knows, but I know I am believed to be dead." The mysterious man informed her.

Jessica smiled. "Let's give it a little time. They must think I am dead. They won't know what hit them."

"I am eager to help you. It has been a long time coming." He laughed as he took a packet with information from Jessica.

In this packet, it had all of the details of her plan. It told him, where Katie was and what she and Jase looked like. The mysterious man was pleased with her information.

"How did you find me?" He asked.

"Honey, I know everything. There is not a secret in this world that gets by me."

"I look forward to helping you. I will not let them get away this time."

Stay tuned. The next one is going to be a thriller!
