Katie and Jase were getting Michael and Danny ready for the zoo. They were so excited because they both loved animals.

"Michael, Aunt Sadie, and Jackson are getting married tonight." Katie shared the news.

"Yay! Jackson will be my uncle!" He jumped up and down.

"I guess you are happy about that?" She laughed at the hyper little boy.

"My mommy and daddy aren't married," Danny spoke up quietly.

"I'm sorry, honey." She rubbed his arm.

"It's ok." He took a bite of cereal. "Daddy works all the time."

Katie's heart hurt for him. She could see the sadness in his eyes.

Jase could tell Danny was sad. "Ok guys, who are ready to see some animals today?" Jase broke the awkwardness.

"I am!" Michael ran and hugged him.

"Me too!" Danny ran and hugged Jase as well.

Jase laughed at the boys. "You guys go get dressed."

Danny and Michael chuckled as they ran inside Michael's room to get dressed.

Katie began washing dishes and making lunches for their Zoo trip. Jase got a phone call from an investigator he hired to watch Jessica and Dylan.

"Honey, I have to step outside. It's the office." He fibbed, but he could not cause any stress during her pregnancy.

She just smiles and nodded at him. He stepped outside and answered his phone.

"Yeah." He answered in a stern voice.

"Mr. Montgomery, this is Thomas FitzGerald. I am the investigator you hired."

"I know who you are. Tell me what you know." Jase ordered him.

"Right to the chase I see." Thomas began. "Right now, I don't have much on them. I know they met up for coffee early this morning, but I couldn't make out what they were talking about, but I know it was something good. That Jessica lady must be the leader."

Jase clenched his fist. " Yes, she is, but how could you not get any more info than that? I need to know what those two are up to."

"I understand. Whatever they were talking about seemed upsetting to Dylan. I kind of think he is being forced to go along with her. They were very discreet in their conversation. I will keep following them and if something is going on I will figure it out."

"Keep me posted. I have to go." Jase hung up when he saw Katie standing at the door.

"Is everything ok?" She wondered.

"Yes, everything is fine. One of the guys couldn't get on his computer. He found his password though."

She could tell something else was going on, but she didn't question him any further. She held the door for him as he walked in.

Jase grabbed the cooler off the counter and carried it out to the car. The boys were so excited that they ran to the car and buckled up before Jase and Katie could help.

Katie peeked into the backseat. The boys were laughing and joking. "Are you boys ready for our zoo day?"

"Yes!" They hollered together.

The four of them went to the zoo and had a great day. They fed the giraffe and got to ride a pony. It was a great day.

Later that evening when they got home, they had to prepare for Sadie and Jackson to get married. Jase offered them their backyard to get married in.
