"Matt!!! I'm taking the car!!" I say as I grab the keys and head to the door.
"Good luck!! Call me if you need anything!!" He yells from in the living room. Chris jogs down the stairs and Nick closes the fridge.
"Good luck, Alex! Show 'em whose boss. Or, I guess I mean employee. Oh whatever." I chuckle at him before opening the door as Chris talks.
"You got it, Princess! Be safe!"
"I will. Love you peasants!!" I say as I walk out and hear them replying in unison. I hop in the drivers seat and put on my seatbelt before heading off.
Once I get to Starbucks, I walk inside and walk to the register. "Hi, how is your day going?"
"Pretty good! I love your outfit." The girl that's name tag reads Jayden. I smile kindly at her.
"Thank you! I love your hair!" We both smile at each other.
"Thanks! So, what can I get started for you?"
"Oh, I'm actually here for an interview."
"Oh! You must be Alexandra then." I nod my head and she points her finger at a table telling me to wait there and that the manager will be out soon.

"Thank you for coming! I will call you around noon tomorrow if you get the job."
"Thank you." I walk out the door and drive home. Once I get inside I head to my room and lay down. Bro, nobody ever told me how tiring interviews were.
I hear my door open but don't look up. I soon feel the side of the bed dip before someone starts talking. "Hey Al, how was it?" Nick.
"It was good. I met this really hot girl there and she was super sweet." I sit my bed against the wall. "But like, I think we are gonna be great friends."
"That's great! And maybe... you could get out more. If you have her by your side, maybe you'll feel more comfortable."
"We will see." We talk for hours before he hoes back to his room and I lay back down to go to sleep.
