Previously on The Story Continues: "What were you trying to say?" "Please, please don't do this. Don't make Merle fight his brother it isn't right!" (Y/N) begged The Governor tears starting to form and all he did was pull his fist back and slam it into her face she let out a yelp and for a second, she was reminded how her mom screamed when she was younger; she was crying and begging this to stop.

"Hey!" Merle yelled and started to walk to The Governor only to be pulled back and stopped. The Governor walked back over to where Daryl was. "So, what should we do with them, huh?" Someone in the crowd yelled 'Kill them!'" "What? What do you want?" Soon the crowd was chanting 'Kill them!' The Governor walked near Merle. "You wanted your brother and your whore. Now you got them."

'The Suicide King'

3rd POV

"Stop! Stop it!" The cries of (Y/N) being almost unheard as the crowd continues to shout, Merle standing almost as if he is conflicted, and Daryl looking panicked. "Merle don't do it please!" Tears cascading down her face. She was crying because they were family and she didn't want either of them to die and her cheek swollen in pain from the punch.

"I asked you where your loyalties lie. You said here. Well, prove it. Prove it to us all. Brother against brother. Winner goes free." The Governor had told everyone. "What- what about (Y/N)? She got nothin' to do with this." Merle questions. "If you win she will get to live but if you lose I'll have your own brother kill her."

"Fight to the death." The crowd cheering for Merle. "Y'all know me. I'm gonna do whatever I got to do to prove." Turning and punch Daryl in the gut causing him to fall and start coughing. "That my loyalty is to this town! And to ma' angel!" Merle kicks Daryl right where he was punched continuing to land blows.

"Daryl, you have to fight back!" (Y/N) being the only one on Daryl's side at the moment hearing this he swings hitting his brother in the face as walkers are brought in. Daryl gets up and ran to Merle grabbing him but still ending up on the ground again.

Merle held Daryl down as Daryl was choking Merle while on the ground. Once they were up, they turned putting their fists up and Merle looked to (Y/N). "(Y/N) let's go!" Hearing this she got up grabbed Martinez's switch blade and ran to the circle with Merle and Daryl.

The men putting the walkers all over the three. A walker was about to bit Daryl but (Y/N) had turned stabbing it the head. The three fighting the walkers and only two of them were dead one from (Y/N) and another from a gunshot that came out of nowhere.

The gunshot had caused people to scream then Hayley was down; shot in the chest. Electric sparks flying everywhere, Daryl grabbed (Y/N) making her and himself duck and next to them Merle ducking as well.

All of the lights being shot out and a smoke grenade going. "Stay close." being blinded by the smoke (Y/N) couldn't see but felt her hand being grabbed and dragged out of the smoke to see Daryl had her. "Merle, come on."

Running to the sound of the gun shots and having Daryl let go of her hand. "Go!" Daryl seen a man with his cross bow, so he just took it, and Merle punched him. Running all the way through Woodbury. "They're all at the arena. This way." Merle instructs going in the right direction. "You're not going anywhere with us." Merle turned to Rick.

"You really want to do this now?" Merle then turned and started to kick the metal wall where it was at its weakest point. "Come on, man." Merle broke open the metal and walked through followed by (Y/N) and then the rest. After going through they see Merle killing a walker.
