Previously on The Story Continues: At the song Merle had entered the cell block, standing to the side looking and listening to her siren song as Glenn walked to sit with Maggie. "You got to hold on, hold on you got to hold on. Take my hand, I'm standing right here you got to hold on. Well, he gave her a dime-store watch and a ring made from a spoon. Everyone's looking for someone to blame."

Rick walked to Hershel and turned back; all eyes and ears on Beth. "If you share my bed, you share my name..." Daryl, Rick, and Hershel begun having their own conversation as Beth continued the song bringing little comfort to the group and lulling (Y/N) into a sleepy mood finding enjoyment from the young girls voice. She closed her eyes and rested her head onto the rail letting Beth bring a sense of peace.

3RD POV

When a sudden noise had erupted in Michonne and (Y/N)'s cell it had jolted the (H/C) awake not knowing how she had gotten in her bunk as she was listening to Beth then the next thing she knew she had been startled awake by Michonne grabbing a few of her things. "What are you doing?" (Y/N) asked causing Michonne to look at the tired girl before sighing.

"Rick asked me to go out with him to look for weapons." Having the answer on why she was woke up abruptly she thought about why she was in her bed. "Did you bring me to my bed last night?" "Yes and no. I started to get you up and Daryl had helped take you to our cell. But Rick is expecting me." (Y/N) was shocked by the new bound information so much so that she didn't see Michonne leave the cell.

After getting ready for the day (Y/N) had left the cell and walked to the main hall seeing just a few people. Beth with Judith, Hershel, Merle, Carol and lastly Daryl the rest doing whatever they chose to do. Hershel was talking with his youngest paying no mind to the girl that just entered Carol was making food and the brothers were just sitting watching their surroundings.

(Y/N) decided that it would be best for her to thank Daryl for helping her into her cell than have her feel awkward about not saying anything she just casually walked to the boys and stopped about three feet away from them. "Hey, Angel." Merle greeted (Y/N) causing her to nod to show she had acknowledged him before she had made eye contact with Daryl who was just staring at her with a blank face.

"Hey, um I just wanted to say thank you for helping me to my cell last night. I had no clue Beth's singing would have knocked me out like that." (Y/N) said slightly fast already feeling embarrassed and feeling like the blood was creeping on her face as Merle started to chortle loudly and all Daryl did was shrug his shoulders making her turn pink slightly.

"Ma' baby brother, the little prince charming." Merles' chortle turned into an ugly cackle making everyone in the room turn and look, small smiles on their faces seeing the scene in front of them. This made both (Y/N) and Daryl more uncomfortable. "That's all I wanted to say, thanks." (Y/N) rushed out before turning and speed walking out of the room and head to her cell with a beat red face.

Still hearing Merle cackling and saying something almost inaudible due to the laughing but able to catch the words 'Prince Charming' and 'Princess Peach' (Y/N) had assumed who was who in the nicknames the situation caused her to stay in her cell for most of the day.

Michonne had made it back from the run she and Rick went on and she had brought a colorful but weird cat statue and told (Y/N) how she came into possession of the item along with the story of Ricks' old friend Morgan who had tried to kill them so (Y/N) had told Michonne what her day consisted of making the swords woman laugh at the (H/C) who was turning pink again. "It's not funny, jerk."

This chapter was incredibly short as the episode was based on Rick, Michonne, and Carl going to king county seeing Morgan and for Michonne and Carl to bond, so I didn't want to find a way to ruin the bonding, but it was also a good way to start the romantic feelings between Daryl and the reader. Because of how short the chapter was I decided not to do the quote of the day.
