It seemed to Mike that there were no other jobs left in the news article, nothing good actually. No jobs topped off the price as high as Freddy's provided, Mike sighed, he might die.
"Have a gwood day at work." Mike Jr hugged his father.
"Night, a good night at work." Mike Sr corrected him. He grabbed his keys and flashlight, strapping them onto his belt and left to Freddy's.
His son would be alright with his Grandma, Mike's mother was quite helpful with taking care of Mike Jr after his mother died.
Mike felt mournful when he was thinking of his wife, after all, she didn't just die, she was murdered.
He shook his head as if to let the memory drop out of his head. He focused back on the task ahead.
The night grew dark as Mike came at the pizzeria at 11:30 again. The place seemed well deserted, he unlocked the front doors with his keys.
He walked down the hallway with the many drawings kids drew and the stars hanging from the ceiling. He walked past his office and found the storage right down the west hall.
Mike tried every key on the loop, since there were so many. A little, silver key, as tiny as Mike's pinkie, was the key to fit the lock into the storage room.
The room was lightly lit, shelves and shelves were in front and to the side of him with many documents. All in alphabetical order, he didn't know where to start.
Mike stared at his watch, fifteen more minutes.
He grabbed the first box of documents that he first spotted. Carrying the box down the hallway to his office. He rushed back and got a second box, carrying it back to his office. Finally, and carefully, he got a third box which had more documents then the other boxes he saw in the storage room.
Locking the door behind him, Mike went back to his office, sitting down in his usual chair. He pulled folders, letters, recipes and receipts from the first box.
'Recipe for Freddy's supreme poutine.'
'Two Large Pizzas, Fries, three sodas. Bill: $49.95.'
'New device, voice box, wires, and metal endoskeletons. Shipping and handling with price is $595.95.'
Mike tossed away the recipes, receipts letters and folders which didn't have what he was looking for. He stared at his watch, 12:01 am.
"Crap," Mike grabbed the tablet, laying it on his lap.
The phone rang.
Mike pressed it to voicemail.
"Uh, Hello? Hello? Well, if you're hearing this, and you made it to day two, uh, congrats! I-I won't talk quite as long this time-"
"Thank god!" Mike sighed.
"-since Freddy and his friends tend to become more active as the week progresses."
Mike stared at the phone, "WHAT?!"
"Uh, it might be a good idea to peek at those cameras while I talk just to make sure everyone's in their proper place, you know..."
Mike grabbed the tablet and set the camera to the stage, he turned pale white, Chica was gone.
"Uh, Interestingly enough, Freddy himself doesn't come off stage very often. I heard he becomes a lot more active in the dark through, so, hey, I guess that's one more reason not to run out of power, right?
I-I also want to emphasize the importance of using your door lights. There are blind spots in your camera views, and those blind spots happen to be right outside your door.
So if-if you can't find something, or someone on your cameras, be sure to check the door lights. Uh, you might only have a few seconds to react...uh, not that you would be in any danger, of course. I'm not implying that."
Mike was half listening, he kept rushing through all the cameras to find Chica. He pressed both door lights, nothing. The only camera that was off was the kitchen camera, audio only.
"Also, check on the curtain in Pirate Cove from time to time. The character in there seems unique and that he becomes more active if the cameras remain off for long periods of time. I guess he doesn't like being watched. I don't know."
Mike whipped the camera to Pirate Cove, the curtains were closed.
'Bang! Clatter! Bang!"
Mike's head whipped around, he looked at the camera. The noise sounded so close that he turned completely white as a ghost.
"Anyway, I'm sure you have everything under control. Talk to you soon!"
Mike wanted to break the phone. "Bullshit," He whispered as he was still buzzing through all of the cameras.
The noise and clatter was still going. It sounded so close, Mike kept checking the door lights, closing the doors for a few moments.
He really was not aware of the power he was using up, 52% it showed at the bottom left of the screen. Mike cursed under his breath, it was only 2:00am. 3:00am.
The noise still continued, Mike was now getting horrified.
He kept the cameras switching from Pirate Cove to the stage, Bonnie left. Mike switched the camera to the party room camera. "You son of a bitch, stay right there! I've already got Chica missing!"
Back to Pirate Cove, curtains were still closed. Mike was confused, where the hell was Chica? He checked the left door light, nothing. The right one, nothing.
The noise still did not stop, Mike buzzed through all the cameras. Pirate Cove was still closed, Bonnie was gone, but he still couldn't find Chica. "Goddam it Chica! Where the hell are you?"
The noise stopped, Mike looked at the camera in the east hall, he shook the camera as he was horrified to see Chica, covered in wires while her head was tilted on the right. She was very close to Mike now.
Mike switched the camera to Pirate Cove, nothing. He went to the bathroom camera, storage room, party room, west hall, and west hall corner. He didn't find Bonnie.
He turned on his door light, he let out a yell of fear as he saw Bonnie right at the door, staring right at him. Mike launched himself for the DOOR button, the door slammed shut on Bonnie.
"F-fuck you..." He whispered under his breath. His hand was still clasped on the button.
Mike breathed in and out several times before regaining his strength back. He pressed the LIGHT button. He saw Bonnie's shadow.
The camera was now fixed on Chica, she was gone from her wave of wires. Mike checked the corner camera, there, Chica was standing, twitching her head. Mike's eyes widened in horror. He punched the DOOR button, the door slammed shut.
He was now back to having both doors shut on him, making him feel claustrophobic.
He checked his tablet, 10% and it's only 5am.
"Shit! Goddam it!" Mike sat there, rooted in his chair, clutching the tablet in his hands. The power was going down fast, Mike was scared to look at the tablet now, his eyes were focused on both doors.
"Bang! Bang! Bang!" There was a loud knocking on the left door where Bonnie was still at. Mike pressed the LIGHT button. Bonnie's shadow was still there but another figure walked by it that its shadow was also showing.
Was it Freddy?
Mike checked the power, 2%. His eyes were wide in horror, he was going to die. The power was going to go out and he was going to die.
All he could do was shut his eyes and pray. "Please, Please turn to six..." His hands covered his face, 1%. "Go to six..." 1%. "Go, turn, turn to six!" 0%. "TURN to SIX!"
A bell rung loud, the doors went back up. Mike heard footsteps from both hallways going softly, distantly away. His hands fell from his eyes, he gazed at his tablet, 6am.
