Mike walked out of the pizzeria with such fear and confusion. As he came to the sidewalk, he turned around to stare right at the pizzeria.
Thinking back of what P.G said, he shivered. One of his questions was answered, if P.G hates kids, why work at a pizzeria? Mike shivered and grew terrified at the thought, trying to rid it away. Mike shook his head, several times before regaining his sensibility.
"Mysterious..." Mike whispered underneath his breath.
"Truly mysterious, I agree..." A voice came from behind Mike, he turned to see a man, wearing the exact same uniform as he, with the same hat. The man kept his face hidden from Mike.
"Who are you?" Mike raised a brow at this man.
"You are the new guard, are you not? Hee, I bet you had quite some nights, I must ask?" The man chuckled a little.
"How did you know-?"
"Well, one does not simply walk up to Freddy Fazbear's pizzeria and call out 'Mysterious', also you're wearing the security outfit, with a badge that says 'F.F security.'" The man chuckled again.
"Huh, alright, I'm Mike Schmidt." Mike lifted his right hand.
"Fitzgerald, Jeremy Fitzgerald." He returned the handshake. Mike's eyes widened,
"Jeremy? Are you THE Jeremy?"
"Uh, I imagine so, it's my name." Jeremy chuckled his small laugh.
"No, no, are you the Jeremy that use to work here?" Mike pointed at the pizzeria.
"Oh! Well, yes." Mike's eyes were still widened.
"My god, I have so many questions for you!"
"Quite interested in my previous job, are you not?" Jeremy placed his small hands in his pockets.
"Well, you know what it's like in THERE! Spending the nights watching, waiting, taking your precious time in a job that seemed like a nice, respectable one that I bet you thought of when you signed up."
"You've met the animatronics, hmm. It seems as if I only saw them months ago, but then again, I only met them a couple of years ago. Hmm, is P.G still working here?" Jeremy casually tilted his head to the side, keeping his eyes on Mike, but then kept shifting them quickly from Mike to the pizzeria.
"Yeah, he's actually kind of an asshole in my case." Mike lifted a hand and rubbed it behind his neck.
"Always was, since day one. It actually wasn't all his fault, he had a terrible life..."
Mike stared at Jeremy.
"The very thing I deeply wonder is if he really hates children, why does he stay at the pizzeria?" Jeremy kept his eyes on the pizzeria.
"I might know why, but I'd rather not say it here." Mike feared as if P.G was listening to everything they were saying.
"Hmm, maybe we can continue this conversation at a coffee shop? I am thirsty anyways." Jeremy suggested.
"Yeah, yeah sure." Mike started to walk with Jeremy on the sidewalk to a nearby coffee shop, but kept his eyes on the pizzeria, as if waiting for something to pop out.
"One thing I need to ask you Jeremy, if you got fired, why did I find you at the pizzeria today?" Mike asked.
"I dunno, I mostly think I came out of spite. But I think the real reason I came back was to see what the pizzeria looked like after the incident." Jeremy shrugged.
"My god, I had the worse nights imaginable at the pizzeria. I am a man of curiosity and after the first night, I grew curious, had so many questions that I wanted answered. And the more I stayed, the more the questions came. One of the important ones, that I wanted answered since the first night, is what is the B-?"
"The Bite of 87', yes, after a couple of months, the incident looked so real and frightening that they had to name it." Jeremy shook his head.
"Yes, can you tell me?" Mike asked eagerly.
Jeremy stared at him, with expressions of "Really?" "Why?" and "Do you really want to know?" "Mike, for one thing I can tell you, it really was the fall of Freddy Fazbear's, I was sure the place would close down after the incident happened, but I guess the owner wanted this business badly enough to keep the pizzeria.
I only met Phone Guy once, he seemed like a solemn fellow, not much expression, he seemed at most times, nervous, scared and anxious.
When I worked there, I was as curious as you. I guess anyone would be curious enough to find out what secrets Freddy Fazbear's has hidden deep inside the very walls, even deep inside the animatronics' eyes, I would imagine."
"All I know about it is that it had to do with the animatronics, no doubt there and with P.G." Mike added.
Jeremy stared at him, "There is more to P.G then you can imagine. He is the real enigma of Freddy's, yet he is one of the most terrifying things which lay at Freddy's. Actually, he is the real reason why Freddy's is so terrifying at night."
"I heard he had to repair the animatronics after 87'."
"No doubt there, I'm not surprised that he is the real reason of the animatronics' behaviours." Jeremy added.
"I need to know what you found out when you worked there. I need my questions answered." Mike told.
Jeremy shook his head, "No, I'd rather let it be. Let the nightmare stay where it was, not bring it back."
"Jeremy, you don't understand. I-I might die tonight! I might survive the night. I can't quit because my family needs the money no matter how low it is. If I die, the least you could give me is answers. If I survive, then I can finally solve the mystery of Fredy's and maybe shut it down."
"Whoa, whoa, I don't know whether you are crazy or very eager to solve the mystery of Freddy's. But it's better to let it be, believe me.
You'll survive the night and find another job. Plus, I'm not positive you can close down Freddy's, the owner did want a successful business, he has roots and help from all over. Enough to hide away what happened at that party which we call 'The Bite of 87' to still keep the business flowing.
Mike, someday the business will close down, I'm sure of it, but all we can do now is hope for the best. Which another thing I learned is why our jobs are important.
After the bite, the animatronics were forced to shut down on their free-roaming mode during the day. P.G probably turned their servos to shut off during the day to keep them in roaming mode at night. It's important to watch them because at least you are keeping them inside the pizzeria at night, when kids come around only during the day. You do have an important job Mike, it's not a job, it's for protection.
I can't imagine how the animatronics would be like if they roamed around at night, scaring and killing children at night. Keep this to consider Mike," Jeremy gave a look of "Please".
"I know how important my job is but I also want to protect the kids by solving this mystery to put a stop to whatever this nightmare is. Jeremy, please tell me, from the very day you started..." Mike begged.
Jeremy gave a look of regret, yet consideration. He sighed, "Alright, ok. I'll tell you what happened.."
