Letty's eighteenth birthday party was held at her favorite Chinese restaurant in the heart of the city of Santo Padre. But before they left the house, EZ decided to go ahead and keep his word to Coco.

"Bebita, can I talk to you really quick?" EZ stood in the bathroom doorway and watched as his girlfriend applied makeup that she really didn't need.

"What's up, babe?" Letty asked as she leaned in towards the mirror to apply her eyeliner.

"Your dad asked me to tell you something...."

He was interrupted by Letty laughing at him.

"What's so funny?" EZ crossed his arms over his chest.

"Coco thinking I'm blind and clueless," Letty replied as she put her eyeliner pencil back in the cup next to the sink. "Trinity told me about her and Coco weeks ago. Trust me, it's kind of uncomfortable listening to one of your closest friends talk about how in love with your dad they are. Spoiler alert that I never needed or wanted to know: Coco's good in bed."

EZ smirked. "Must be genetic."

"Did you really have to go and make it even creepier?" She glared at him as she applied her lipstick.

EZ laughed and walked over and wrapped his arms around her from behind. "This mean you're not pissed about it?" He kissed the side of her neck.

Letty threw her tube of lipstick back in her makeup bag and turned around in his arms. "When have you ever known me to hide when I'm pissed?" She reached up and wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Valid point," EZ chuckled. "You almost ready to head out?"

"Yeah," she nodded. "I'm starving. Are Angel and Adelita coming tonight?" Adelita had given birth to a son a month earlier. She and Angel had named him Maverick.

"Angel is, but Adelita's staying home with the baby. She only trusts you and Tessa to babysit.:

Adelita was permanently paranoid, but EZ understood why. Before hooking up with Angel and before Galindo had been put away, her life was really fucked up.

"Remind me to take her out to lunch or something next week when Tess can babysit. She can't stay cooped up with Maverick all the time." Letty walked past him into their bedroom to grab her purse off the table.

"Sure," EZ smiled to himself. She was just confirming for him why he loved her enough to marry her. Letty was a tough woman, but she also had a heart of pure gold. If she cared about you, she was the most loyal friend you could ever ask for. In EZ's eyes, she was perfect.
