Immediately after Emily left, EZ got in touch with Angel and told him about the visit.

"You don't want it to look like you have anything to hide from the club," Angel advised. "You need to bring this to the table. Go and get a few hours of sleep, bro. I'm crashing at the clubhouse tonight. I'll call you as soon as I see el presidente in the morning."

Well, there went his plans for the night. "Alright, man, see you in the daylight." EZ disconnected the call and threw his phone on the couch with way more force than necessary.

"I'm not getting laid tonight, am I?" Letty sat perched on the arm of the recliner that EZ was seated in.

"No, bebita, you're not." He wrapped his arm loosely around her and began stroking her exposed thigh, cursing Emily to the deepest put in Hell. "I'm gonna have to head back to the clubhouse to talk to Bishop as I know he's there."

Letty groaned. "Fine," she got to her feet. "But I'm coming along. You're patched in now. You get a dorm. I'm setting one up for us to use, so we aren't doing this back and forth shit all the time." She held out her hand to him.

EZ let her help him to his feet, and then he quickly stole a kiss. "You're a smart woman, baby. Let's go to bed."

The next morning, roughly three hours after he went to sleep, Angel called him to wake him at seven. He had quickly woken Letty, and the two of them headed for the salvage yard.

Once there, Chuckie had taken Letty to show her the only free dorm the club currently had while EZ gathered in the temple with the guys.

"What all did Emily have to say?" Bishop demanded to know.

EZ gave him the full rundown on the brief conversation. Coco couldn't hide his proud chuckle when he heard what his daughter had said to Emily. Even Bishop cracked a small smile.

"That's Coco's girl, alright," Riz joked.

"What do we do about Galindo's old lady?" Taza asked. "Having her poking around isn't safe."

"I'll make contact with Alvarez and see what he thinks we should do." Bishop looked to EZ. "EZ, I'd avoid that bitch at all costs. We don't want Galindo getting the wrong idea."

EZ nodded but didn't speak. He didn't want to be forced to lie yet again. If he was ever going to get the feds off of his ass, Emily was going to be the key. He already knew exactly how he would use her visit against her. Letty had agreed to the plan. Now he just needed a few minutes alone with Angel and Coco to get their agreement as well. He would act tonight. He was tired of waiting and tired of delays.
