The run had been quick and gone smoothly. Chibs had been impressed. "Tig and Happy will be down with Trinity next weekend." He shook Bishop's hand. "After that, the deal's done."
By the time we made it back to the clubhouse, it was very early in the morning. Too late to meet up with Adelita. They wouldn't be able to meet her the next night either. Bishop was insisting on a party to celebrate me getting my kutte. I couldn't say no, and I couldn't just up and disappear during the middle of it. I was a little frustrated by the delay to our plan as I rode home in the dark. I was refusing to dwell too much on my frustration. I planned on enjoying myself with Letty.
Letty had gotten a ride home with Alvarez's daughter, and I expected her to be in bed asleep, and I had honestly expected to have to wake her. I was pleasantly surprised to find her awake and in the shower.
"Baby," I tried not to scare her, but I failed.
Letty gave out a tiny little scream before I saw her holding her bare chest through the clear glass of the shower door. Fuck, she was sexy as hell. "Holy fuck, EZ! You scared the shit out of me!"
"Sorry," I chuckled. "Poke your head out here for a second. I want my baby to see something."
"No way!" She squealed happily when she looked our the cracked shower door. I didn't think she knew it, but her bare breasts innocently pressed against the glass damn near killed me.
"You're an old lady now, bebita," I nodded.
Letty smirked as she noticed the prominent bulge in my crotch. "You want some help with that, mi rey?"
I knew that she fully expected me to turn her down like I always did. But fuck timelines and even morality. I had earned this shit. I was done keeping my girl waiting. "Yeah, baby, I do." I winked at her as I shrugged out of my new kutte and hung it carefully on the back of the bedroom door.
She was surprised, but definitely the good kind, as she watched me lose the rest of my clothes. Once I was naked, she crooked her finger at me as she fully pushed the shower door open. "Get in here."
She didn't need to tell me twice.
