Ch 8 [Hope Shine's]

Izuru's P.O.V

After leaving the Remnant's of Despair's base; i drove toward's hope's peak highschool, which has been converted into a safe haven for humanity. I had the intention to use these weapon's as a bribe to get, Nanami, and Tsumugi into the safe haven so they wouldn't be harmed. I had a suspicion that i would be left to the undead for being a Remnant of Despair, but i had to do anything i could to keep them safe.

Chiaki:"Hajime, do you remember me?"

Izuru:"I do not know who you are talking about. You must have me mistaken for someone else."

Chiaki:"Hm, sorry. Just thought you looked like someone i knew.":(He has to be, Hajime. He look's too similar to him, especally his facial feature's and his voice.)

Izuru:"Don't be, i've gotten that reaction more time's than not."

Tsumugi:"Hey miss, what was that, Hajime like?"

Chiaki:"He was a good man, he cared about his friend's but he was a little insecure about certant thing's. And i cared about him a lot."

I don't know, but when she said that i felt something in the back of my head get excided over her saying that. After about forty five minute's we finally got to hope's peak.

We were greeted by who i can assume is their leader.

Makoto:"Who are you?"

Izuru:"I am, Izuru Kamukura. I mean no harm and i do not bring conflict."

A couple other people came out and had some question's of their own.

Byakuya:"Why are you here?"

Izuru:"I came here to bargen with you."

Kyoko:"And what are you bargening for?"

Izuru:"I only want for them to be safe, and i brought something that could help you."

Mondo:"And that would be?"

I led them to the back of the semi and opened the trailer to show them the weapon's i was offering them, the look on, Owada's face was like he just witnessed his first child's birth.

Mondo:"And what do you want for this stuff?"

Izuru:"I only request that you keep, Ms Nanami and my Daughter, Tsumugi safe and allow them inside the safe haven."

Byakuya:"How can we be sure that you aren't planning to double cross us?"

Kyoko:"He isn't. I can tell from the look in his eye's, he's not planning anything."

Mondo:"Hm, i'll be keepin' an eye on them."

Byakuya:"I'll see what can be done, they're gonna need room's if they're staying."

Makoto:"Alright, i'll have, Tsumiki-San look over them in case any of you are injured."

Izuru:"Nanami was tortured by the Remnant's, she'll need medical attention regardless."

Mondo:"Then i'll carry here to the nurse, if she was tortured then i don't think it'll be safe for her to walk."

Owada helped her out of the semi and carried her into the school where she would be taken care of, i was ready to leave and let them go one with their live's. But i felt someone grab my shoulder.

Izuru:"Hm?"

Makoto:"You don't have to leave, you can stay here. You'll have a safe place to stay, and you'll be able to stay with your Daughter."

I was surprised by his kindness, i don't recall anyone being so kind to me. Granted i don't remember much of my own life but, Naegi's kindness made me feel like i had a chance to be an actual human being. I accepted their offer and helped them unload the weapon's into the base, now i had the chance to raise, Tsumugi and just maybe, i can regain my old memories.
