Ch 54 [Bladed Heart]

Makoto's P.O.V

Peko had asked me to meet her on the roof tonight, i'm not sure why but i wasn't gonna leave her up there alone. So i headed up there around nine forty at night so we'd be up there alone and without anyone interupting. She was already there so i wouldn't have to wait for anyone.

Makoto:"Good evening, Peko. What did you need me up here for?"

Peko:"N-Naegi-San,-

-I-I'm glad you could make it."

Makoto:(Why is her face so pink? Is something wrong?)

Peko:"L-Let's just sit down, and watch the star's. It'll be a good way to pass the time."

Makoto:"Okay, if that's all you wanted you could've just said so, i come up here almost every night."

I sat down next to her and we watched the star's, and even pointed out constellation's we saw like, Betelgeuse, Altair, Arcturus and other's along those line's. It was nice to do this under the moonlight, it was relaxing and having, Peko along side me made it a little more fun. At one point, Peko even reached over and rested her hand on top of mine, her face was beet red; she was even trying to avoid eye contact with me.

Makoto:"Hm. Peko, is something wrong?"

Peko:"N-No, nothing's wrong. Why do you ask?"

Makoto:"I can tell something's wrong, i can feel your heart-rate going through the roof, so something's wrong."

Peko:(Oh no, he's catching on. Should i tell him now? Or should i wait?):"Um, th-there's nothing wrong i can assure you. I wouldn't lie to you."

I know that there's something wrong, she's keeping something from me. What could it be?

Makoto:"Hm, maybe i should go get, Tsumiki-San?"

Peko:"No, no it's fine, i promess.":(Yeah, he's deffinantly catching on. I should probably tell him now so i don't lose my chance.):"I-I had a quick talk with the other's when we got back from that lake."

Makoto:"Oh?"

Peko:"And they told me it was okay."

Makoto:"Told you what was okay?"

Peko:"They said it was okay for me to.....*Mumble*"

Makoto:"Sorry? I couldn't understand you, you're mumbling. Could you speak up?"

I started catching on to what she was talking about, but i wanted her to say it. She's to cute when she's flustered.

Peko:"I-I said that the other girl's told me it was okay for me to.....love you."

Makoto:"Oh, so they said it was okay? Heh, i guess you know who's in charge now."

Peko:"*Chuckle* I guess so, i'm just glad that you didn't reject me i've felt like a tool for so long, but you helpped me out of that mind set. You've done so much for all of us and expected so little in return, and that's what i admire about you."

Makoto:"Well, as a leader, i have to help my people in anyway i can. The real reward is seeing everyone smile at the begining of a new day, that's all i want to see, and if i have to sacrifice life and limb, so be it."

Peko smiled blissfully as we gazed up at the star's and eventually fell asleep on the roof top watching the star's. But some how we woke up in my room, how did that happen?

Izuru's P.O.V

*Sigh* I figured something like this would happen sooner or later, oh well, at least i was strong enough to carry them to one of the room's. Anyway, at least, Aoi made some doughnut's earlier, and to my surprise, they weren't boring. I guess i like doughnut's. A fact not even i knew about me.
