Ch 74 [Armor Up]

Masaru's P.O.V

Man, this suck's big time. The people who saved us have gone to war against the Future Foundation, and we're left here to wait for them. Myself, Nagisa, Monica, Jataro and Kotoko were old enough to fight against them too, so why are we being left here? Why aren't we allowed to get out their and fight!? I don't care what i'm being told by them, i'm getting out their and fighting, and i have just the weapon i need. I was going to see if i could recrute my friend's to help, but i doubt they'd help. Couldn't hurt to try.

Masaru:"Oi, i need to talk to you four."

Nagisa:"What is it?"

Jataro:"Is there something you need?"

Masaru:"I'm going out to the field with them. I want to ask you to join me, regardless of your choice; i'm going."

Monica:"Oh, Monica think's that's a rather stupid idea. You'll be killed, you shouldn't go."

Kotoko:"She has a point. Those Foundation soldier's will light you up like firework's the second they see you. Just stay here with us, it's safe here."

Masaru:"I figured you'd say something like that. That's why i'm going regardless of what you say, i'm not going to hide behind cover while they risk they're asses out their fighting against the Future Foundation."

Nagisa:"Daimon, we've been given a new chance at life, if you go out there, you're throwing your life away."

Hearing that comment threw me over the edge and i punched the wall at full force.

Masaru:"Do you think i give a shit!? The Future Foundation has thrown us through hell and back because we weren't part of them! I'm not hanging back here anymore."

Kotoko:"I know you want to fight, but we don't have the experience or weapon's to fight them ourselves! Trust me when i say this, but if we had the weapon's and experience i would be joining you out their and fight right along side you. But we just can't, please listen to us. You're our friend, and we don't want to lose you."

Monica:"Monica agree's, if we had experience we'd go with you and fight. But we don't have the experience or equipment, we have to stay."

Masaru:"You guy's can stay here and be coward's all you want, but i'm going."

I began to walk to the garage that held a peice of gear that would give me an advantage against the Future Foundation, when they continued to question me.

Jataro:"How are you even going to fight them, huh!? You're out guned and out maned, you'll be killed without a second thought!"

Masaru:"If you doubt me, then come with me and see my newest weapon."

I lead them out to the garage and showed them, the very weapon, myself and a drunken Kazuichi created. They're reaction's were priceless.

Nagisa:"Holy hell."

Kotoko:"What the hell, is this thing?"

Masaru:"Heh, feast your eye's, on myself and Soda's greatest creation yet,-

-The Crimson King power armor!"

Jataro:"When did, you and Mister Soda make this?"

Masaru:"Well, Soda got drunk one night and i was able to convince him to help me build this suit of power armor. And it's finally complete."

Monica:"We shouldn't question it any further."

Kotoko:"So, you plan on using this to fight them?"

Masaru:"Yeah, it's ment to be the strongest power armor ever made. That's why it took so long to finish, i wanted it to be as powerful as possible before i went out to fight the Foundation."

Nagisa:"You know piloting these thing's is dangerous, right?"

Masaru:"I know, bit i'm doing this regardless. I have my suspicion's that their going to be using the X-Virus as a weapon against our people. I can't let that happen."

Kotoko:"If there's really no way of changing your mind, then promess us you'll come back alive."

Masaru:"I don't intend on dying. I swear on my families soul's i'll come back alive."

Jataro:"We'll keep, Miss Tojo and Miss Natsumi busy while you're gone."

Masaru:"Good, i'll make this as quick as possible. See you then."

They went back into the school while i climbed into the power armor. I was nervous as hell, but i have to help my people as much as possible. The armor powered on and i started toward's the next compound they'd be headed to. God give me strength.
