Ch 11 [The Sister's Survival]

Komaru's P.O.V

Hi there, my name is, Komaru Naegi. I've been trapped in this apocalypse since it began, i was scared at first and i still am a little scared but i needed to be brave! I've been looking for my brother, Makoto since this outbreak started and i was hoping him and my parents are okay. I didn't have much to my name right now but i could easily make do with what i have, and today i was going to head out and look for clean water. (Only to find out later that the Virus didn't spread through water!) But first, i had to wake up.

Komaru:"Ugh, so tired. But i have to find something so i can survive. I have to find water."

I got up, brushed my hair, got dressed, and grabbed anyone's best friend in a Zombie Apocalypse.

A highly sharpened knife, and holy lord it was good. The knife was so sharp it could cut through a Zombie's head like it was butter. But now, it's time to hit the street's.

Komaru:"Okay, let's go. Just breathe, and stay calm."

I left my home base and hit the street's of the post-apocalyptic japan.

Komaru:(Okay, everything's okay. Just keep calm and it'll be over before you know it.):"I got this!"

I wasted no time in running toward's the store's to see if at least one hadn't been hit. Granted, it wasn't likely there would be anything useful in them but maybe if i was lucky i'd find something good. I wandered into an old store that wasn't all that well known even before the apocalypse and saw that the two owner's who were an older couple had been butchered by the Zombie's, it wasn't a pleasent sight, but with time i'll get use to it. I went into their room and saw that someone else who was also there had been recently mauled. But they had opened a safe that had something good in it.

Komaru:"Hello, what's this?-

-Oh heck yeah!"

A triple barreled revolver, each chamber hold's seven bullet's, which come's out to twenty one useable bullet's before i have to reload. I was extreamly excided, i finally had a gun and it was an awsome one too.

Komaru:"Next stop, the actual shop part of this place. Man, i really need to find someone to talk to, or i'm gonna go crazy."

I went down stair's to the actual shop stock, and hallelujah, did i hit the jackpot!? There was water, food, more ammo, an ammo belt. What didn't they have at this point, i hit the jackpot! I left the store with a pep in my step and a smile on my face, i was going to head back to my little base and drop off some of these supplies until i heard what sounded like a kid yelling something. I followed the yelling and found a kid beating a Zombie's corpse.

????:"You think you scare me!? Well you don't you ugly monster! You should be scared of me, i'm a worse moster then you will ever be!"

The kid beat the Zombie's corpse for about ten more second's all while screaming at the corpse about how much better that he was compared to it. After he finished he collapsed and started to quietly cry. I decided to get closer to him and once he saw me he dried his tear's and started acting tough.

Komaru:"Hey kid, are you okay?"

Masaru:"It's dangerous out here, ya know? You should just go back to your  home."

Komaru:"I should be saying that to you kid. What's your name?"

Masaru:"Masaru Daimon. What's it to you?"

Komaru:"Well, my name is, Komaru Naegi. It's nice to meet you."

Masaru:"Nice to meet you too, i guess."

Komaru:"Anyway,-

-You must be thirsty, here."

Masaru:"T-Thank you."

I sat by the kid so i could protect him, i was considering asking him where his parents were, but i could kinda assume what happened to them.

Komaru:"Hey kid, if you want i can take care of you. Granted i don't have much on me right now but i think there might be a place that can keep us safe."

Masaru:"Why would you do that, all for some orphan that you don't even know?"

Komaru:"Because, all kid's deserve to be happy, including you."

He looked at the ground and hugged my arm, he probably hasn't had a good life so i decided to help him out, i'll be his new big sister. Next stop, Hope's Peak Highschool. All i know is that it could have stuff in it and i've also picked up chatter that there were survivor's there too. Maybe they can help me look for, Makoto?
