Please Don't Go Girl

Day one and I am laying in bed waited for Jordan to FaceTime me. I wore a pretty nightgown just for him. I hate sleeping without him.  I am now so use to him being there, that when he isn't I toss and turn like crazy. I continued to read my book until finally my phone was ringing. I click on it and there he was. My gorgeous boyfriend lying on the bed in his hotel room with no shirt and his PJ pants. He looked sexy as hell which just made me miss him even more, which I did not think was possible. 

"Hey Baby, you look so sexy tonight! I miss you." I said.

"Hey my beautiful Lynne, you look amazing and I really miss you too!" He replied. 

"How was your day today?" I asked.

"Busy, but productive.  The interviews with the radio stations went well. We seem to get a lot of positive feedback. Fans were excited about the new song. " He said with a smile. 

"That is great baby.  I am so excited for you.  How are the guys doing?" 

"Good, they said hi.  How about you?  How was your day?"

"Hi back to them. Ok just work and then home.  Yes I will admit, I laid on the couch tonight watching chick flicks and eating ice cream while missing you terribly. I can't help it, I know I sound pathetic." I said with a pout. 

" Aww Baby, I miss you too.  You are not pathetic, the only reason I didn't mope was I was far too busy.  As It is I am not sure how I am going to sleep without you next to me tonight." 

"I guess we both are going to have sleepless nights, huh? I did not really think it was going to be so hard to be away from you.  I better get use to it though, as this will not be the only time.  I know your job takes you away from home and I won't always be able to go." 

"I know, it is hard for me too. I just try to make the most of the time we are together. It makes it so much more special to me. I love you."

"Oh Jordan, you did it again. You always say the right thing at the right time. It makes me love you more and more the longer we are together."

"Now you are making me want to cry. I miss you so much."

"I miss you too." 

We talked for at least an hour as both of us started to yawn.  I got comfortable in my bed and he in his. We exchanged good byes and I love you. He then told me to put the phone next to my head on his pillow facing me and close my eyes.  He started to sing I Will be Loving You Forever as I slowly dozed off to sleep and then he ended the call. 

Day two and I was off to work.  I slept a little better than I thought I would. Jordan's beautiful voice led me right in to sleepy land. I could listen to him sing all day long. His voice is like a special instrument that speaks directly to my heart. It is one of the things I love most about him is his voice, not just the singing one, but just his voice in general with that adorable Boston accent that I have still not picked up after all the years I have lived here. He is my love, and my heart.  I look forward to everyday we have together.  As my work day ended, Jess and I headed to our favorite pizza place for our girls dinner out.  Nothing special, just Jess' way of trying to make me not feel so lonely with Jordan being away. We always watch out for each other and always lift each other up.  Our friendship has stood the test of time and there is no other person I could possibly have as a BFF than her.  We ate and talked for an hour or so.  It was nice to catch up on each others lives outside of work.  Lately, we have been so busy at the studio that we barely had time to talk at all.  It was getting late, so I was ready to head home and get ready for bed while waiting for Jordan to call.  Jess and I headed off to our cars.  I pulled out of the parking lot with Jess right behind me.  Our paths home were identical for a few blocks till I turned off to the right at the same street she goes left. I sat at the red light waiting for it to change so I could turn right to head home.  The light finally changed and I proceeded to pull out and turn and the next thing I remember is seeing a car coming straight at me on my left and then a huge bang and lights out.
