Three Months later:
Today is the day, wedding day. I woke up and my stomach is doing somersaults. I have not seen Jordan for 2 days, except the wedding rehearsal and dinner, as he has stayed with his brother while doing the bachelor party and so on. I had my bachelorette thing to do as well. I have barely been able to sleep without him and my nerves are getting worse and worse the closer it gets to showtime. It still feels like a dream that I hope I never wake up from. As I lay there in bed trying to calm myself, my girls both come rushing in and jump on the bed.
"Mom, Mom! Get up, today is the day!" They both yell together. "We made you breakfast and then we need to start getting ready! I am so happy for you mom!" Rachel says.
"Me too, mom, you finally get to have the love and life you deserve." Lizzy says with a smile.
"Thank you girls. Breakfast sounds great, I hope I can eat as my stomach is beyond excited." I respond.
"Well, at least try mom, you don't want to pass out at your own wedding." Rachel says.
I managed to get myself moving, ate some breakfast, and got a shower. After the shower, I sat while the beautician did my hair and make up. Then I watched as each of my girls had theirs done as well. Both looked so beautiful and I hoped one day I would be watching them each get married to the man of their dreams.
Next, we all filed into the limo dresses in hand to finish getting dressed at the Jon's farm where we decided to have our wedding. The guys went to a nearby hotel for the bachelor party and stayed the night to get dressed for the wedding. The girls and I were going to finish getting ready at Jon's house. We all helped decorate the barn we were getting married in and there was a huge tent set up with tables and chairs for the reception. It was all so magical, with room for a makeshift dance floor and DJ area. A piano was also set up as Joe was going to sing a special song for our first dance. I have no idea what song as Jordan wanted it to be a surprise.
As we arrived at the farm, my nerves just went into high gear, my heart was racing, and I was getting hot flashes.
"Mom, Are you ok?" Lizzy asked as she looked at me and realized I was about to have a panic attack.
"Rachel get over here now, mom is having a panic attack!" Rachel came running and joined her sister. They both sat in front of me, each taking one hand and looking me in the eyes.
"Mom, look at me and Lizzy. Take in a deep breathe for 1,2,3,4 seconds, hold it for 1,2,3,4 seconds, let it out 1,2,3 4 and let's repeat but eyes on me and Lizzy ok?" Rachel said while looking deep into my eyes. After doing this 2 or 3 times, I finally started to relax.
"Thanks girls. I don't know what came over me. That has not happened in a very long time. I guess my nerves are elevated with the wedding and all. I will be ok now." I said with a smile.
"Ok mom, but we are here if you feel it happening again." Lizzy replied and Rachel nodded in unison.
After my little meltdown, I was able to remain calmer and finished getting ready. The girls helped me with my dress and shoes. I wore a blue garter belt, a necklace Rachel lent me, and I was carrying my mom's small white Bible she carried on her wedding day. Just then someone knocked at the door to the bedroom we were in.
"I got it." Lizzy said. "Who is it?"
"It's Donnie, I have something from Jordan for Lynne." He replied.
Lizzy slowly opened the door and Donnie stepped in and gave a small blue box to Lizzy. As he did he looked over and saw me standing in front of the mirror.
