Finally Finding Out

After an amazing night with Jordan, I stopped at home to pick up a few things and find the number for my landlord.  As I was looking in some drawers in my kitchen the doorbell rang.  I answered to find my best friend Jess standing there with a smile.

"Hey, come on in. I wasn't expecting you, did I forget some plans for us to have lunch today?" I asked.

"No, I just was out and about and saw your car and thought I would stop by and see how you and Jordan are doing." She replied. 

"We are better. I surprised him yesterday at his house and let's  just say make up sex is amazing!"

"Oh my, you are one lucky girl. But, honestly I think any sex with Jordan Knight would be amazing. " She said as she winked at me. 

"Yes, I must say that is true. Anyway, he also asked me to move in with him and I said yes. I am trying to find the contact number for my landlord so I can see what I need to do and how much it would be for me to buy out the rest of my lease so I can move sooner than 4 months. "

"Well, I have a possible solution. I hate my place and planned to move at the end of this month. So far I have not found anything, but maybe your landlord would allow me to take over your lease.  That solves my problem and yours." Jess said.

"Hmm. That may work. I could slowly move my stuff out and you can slowly move your things in. I need to sell some of my furniture as I won't need it, so yeah that would be great." I replied.

"I would like to buy some of your furniture as I am in need of a change." 

"Ok, Jess let me call the landlord now and see what we can do. I think he will easy to convince." I said. 

I proceeded to call my landlord and plead my case.  I allowed him to speak with Jess and she also put in her two cents. After all was said and done, he agreed to allow Jess to take over my lease, providing she passed his credit check. I knew she would and we both started to plan our moves. Both of us agreed to meet with him at his office tomorrow to sign papers and finalize the new lease.  I was so thankful this all was falling into place.  I was going to be with the man I have fallen in love with and my best friend was gonna step in and rent my place and save me money. She also gets to finally move from her old apartment which she hated due to the location.  I finished up some last minute things, grabbed a few more items to take with me to Jordan's and headed out the door.  I stopped at the Office Depot to pick up a few more boxes and went on to Jordan's place. I let myself in with my key and saw him sitting on the couch with his laptop in hand.  When he looked up and saw me, he jumped up and grabbed the box I was carrying. 

"Thank you sweetie." I said as he placed the box on the counter. 

"Of course, babe. I don't want you to have to carry such a heavy box." Jordan replied with a wink. 

I wrapped my arms around his waist and stood on my tippy toes to plant a kiss on those luscious lips. 

"Mmm, you always taste so good to me. I am so going to enjoy living with you and seeing you everyday. I love you." I said with a smile.

"I love you too, Lynne. I am looking forward to being with you every minute of everyday." He said in reply as he pulled me close for another tasty kiss. 

I think we stood there in the kitchen for what seemed like a lifetime making out. His kissing seem to be so passionate and sensual that every cell in my body was awakened. "Nothing, just thinking of how much I love my boyfriend and how much he loves me." I said with a smile. He looked at me and the most sweetest smile appeared on his face.  The kind that shows off those adorable dimples of his.

"I love my girlfriend so much and I love how much she loves me too." He replied. It is like he just knows what to say and when to say it that it just warms my heart and brings tears of joy to my eyes. He wiped one of those tears away with the brush of his thumb on my cheek and pulled me close to kiss my forehead. I melted right into his body and wished I could stay like this forever. I felt safe, I felt loved, and for the first time in over 25 years, I felt truly happy.
