"Well, this place is not a lodge." Mila stated as we pulled up to Jared's mountain mansion.

"No, it is not." Jake agreed and started to unpack our luggage from the boot as Mila began insta-stories. Her following was growing significantly and she was starting to get more brands reaching out to collaborate with her.

We entered the house, each bedroom was just as magnificent as the last; all with king size beds overlooking the snowy forest beneath us, massive walk in closets and ensuites which were bigger than most bathrooms.

Jake delivered my luggage to my room.

"Thank you," I smiled sweetly at him, walking closer to him and holding out my arms to him.

"Sure thing," he responded, accepting my embrace. He dipped his head down to kiss my lips lightly. I had never met anyone like Jake before. He was caring, sincere, sweet, incredibly sexy and would have been the perfect boyfriend... if only would let himself accept thats's what this was.

"So," I said coyly, "do you care to sleep over tonight?"

"Why create extra washing for the housekeeper?" He smiled into my lips, kissing me again.

"Hmmm," I murmured gently against his sweet kisses as they trailed along my cheek and down my neck."I wouldn't want to be an inconvenience to the housekeeper. We should definitely only use one bed."

"I can't remember the last time I slept alone anyway." He said, cupping my face in his hands and kissing me deeper.

"Sleeping alone is over rated," I giggled between kisses, pulling him over to the big bed.

He lowered me down into the centre of the bed, pulling his hoodie and shirt off over his head as he did so. He gently moved himself on top of me and kissed me again. I ran my hands along his body; so toned, so tattooed, so sexy. I twisted my hands into his hair and pulled him towards me, kissing him more passionately.

"So I have news," Mila said, entering the room with a flourish.

"Mila!" I exclaimed as Jake pulled away from me, but I held him close so he couldn't roll off me. "We're kind of in the middle of something here."

"The door was wide open," Mila said indignantly. "And you two are always making out, nothing I haven't seen before. You can just continue, I'll tell you my news anyway."

"It's okay," Jake laughed and rolled away. "I'm still unpacking the car. You girls brought a lot of stuff for one weekend away."

"Well, duh." Mila said and scooted next to me on the bed. I pouted as Jake put his shirt back on and left the room.

Mila was smiling from ear to ear. "BMW want to collaborate with me. They will give me a free car. That's pretty cool, hey?"

"I guess," I said offhandedly, still annoyed Mila had interrupted my favourite activity with my favourite person. "Or your mother could just buy you one."

"She won't buy me another until I'm eighteen since I wrote off the last one." Mila pushed on. "Besides, they're a German brand so it would go back to my mothers roots, which is kind of cute."

"I guess," I said again, already bored with this conversation. "Let's drink tonight. I want to do something fun."

"I'm down with that," Mila smiled. She jumped up from the bed and went to leave the room, but only made it as far as the door before pausing.

"So, are you two an official item yet?"

"No," I said, trying to hide my annoyance. "You know that's not how things are."
