At 9:15 pm, Katniss Everdeen was lounging up in her treehouse, watching movies on her laptop and scrolling through Twitter and Instagram on her phone.

Katniss Everdeen was easily the most gorgeous girl in District 12. Her smokey grey eyes were always lined with catlike eye makeup. Her plump lips were always covered in red lipstick, but only one guy had gotten a taste of it. Katniss was the most desired girl around. Everyone wanted her.

They all either wanted to kiss her, kill her or be her.

But only one lucky guy had ever gotten her.

Peeta Mellark was Katniss's ex-boyfriend. They went through a rough breakup when Peeta broke up with Katniss because he had to move to District 4. Two months later, he called her up and admitted he had gotten over her, and he wanted to officially break up. Katniss was heartbroken, and hadn't dated ever since, even when Peeta returned to 12. Peeta was currently dating Johanna Mason, Katniss's frenemy. She pretended like she hadn't really bothered about it, but inside she was crestfallen.

So Katniss declined all of her friends' calls to go out, climbed up to her treehouse and watched Disney movies alone. As of right now, she was watching Beauty & The Beast.

Katniss locked her phone and put it aside, focusing on her favorite part, where the Beast and Belle dance together in the ballroom.

Katniss heard shrill laughter downstairs and rolled her eyes. Those geeks were probably spying on her again. She increased the volume and ignored them.

But then she heard it again. And then she heard someone calling her name. Katniss scowled, annoyed. She paused her movie.

She was about to get up..

But then her window crashed. Everything was suddenly on fire. Pain spread from Katniss's face to her brain, to the rest of her body. She was screaming, in pain, in agony. Flames were licking up the place, her beloved treehouse, laptop and cell phone. Katniss kept screaming, until everything faded to black and the feeling of pain numbed to nothingness.
