Pov y/n

When I wake up, I feel an arm softly wrapped around me.
For a second I am confused until I remember that Scarlett and I slept in the same bed last night.
I smile at the memory and turn my head to look at her. My back is facing her but she is still cuddled up to me, her arm loosely laying over my side, her hand on my stomach.

I turn around carefully, not wanting to wake her up and succeed.
Now I'm laying on my back, her arm still wrapped around me. Last night we fell asleep when I was cuddling into her, my head on her shoulder, so we must have moved during the night.
My heart jumps at the realization that she snuggled into me in her sleep. I suppose that means that she feels comfortable around me and safe.

It makes me deeply happy and I just want to stay in this moment forever. Waking up next to her feels amazing and if I could choose, I would want to do it every day from now on. But that's not only up to me, that's also up to Scarlett.
I internally sigh, wishing we would be more than just friends.

My eyes move from the ceiling to the body next to me and I look at her soft expression. She looks so peaceful and innocent when she sleeps. A strain of blonde hair covers her face a little and I have to resist the urge to tug it behind her ear.
I know that it's creepy to watch people sleep but I can't help it, she looks so beautiful.

But I eventually take my eyes off her, looking at the ceiling, a fuzzy smile on my face.
When her body moves closer to mine and she hugs me a little tighter, I look at her again and see her eyes fluttering open. She blinks a few times before looking at me and giving me a cute smile.

"Good morning." She says, her voice raspy from sleep but God, it sounds sexy.
Not the time, y/n!

"Good morning." I reply, keeping my voice also low, not wanting to disturb the peaceful moment.

Scarlett moves her eyes from my face and only now seems to notice that she is still hugging me. A slight blush forms on her cheeks and she takes her arm off me but doesn't scootch away, so I can still feel her body warmth next to me.

"Sorry about that." She mumbles and stretches her arms, avoiding eye contact.

"There's nothing to be sorry for, I liked it." I say, adding the last part quieter but she caught it and glances over at me.

"Me too." She whispers and lets her head fall back into the pillow.

A comfortable silence surrounds us in which we are both in thought. Scarlett moves her head to look out the window, through which the sun shines.

"The storm seems to have passed." She observes, not addressing anyone specific. I hum in agreement and stretch a little myself. Scarlett watches me with a small smile that already gives me butterflies.

"Would it be able that I take a shower here?" I ask, a little embarrassed about the question but I feel a little sweaty and don't want to make a bad impression on her. Scarlett nods instantly.

"Of course, you can shower in the guest bathroom. There are towels and in one of the top drawers are also shampoo and conditioner." She explains and tilts her head a little to look at me better.

"That's great, thank you." I answer, glad she doesn't seem to find it weird.

"Do you also need fresh clothes, or at least a new shirt?" She asks and raises her hand to softly place it on my shoulder before resting her chin on top of her hand. The little touch adds to the butterflies in my stomach and I have to hold back to not move to kiss her right now.

"Yeah, a new shirt would be great. But you don't have to do that, I could also wear  mine." I offer but she gently shakes her head.

"You can have one of mine, it's no problem at all. I'll give you one, once we got up...but right now it's just too comfortable to get up." She says, a cheeky grin on her face as she snuggles back into me again. I slowly wrap my arm around her, my hand resting on her shoulder.
