We decided to split up after the date again because just in case Rose needs to be picked up from her sleepover for whatever reason, it would be unfitting if I was around.
Besides, Scarlett wanted to tell Rose about us and we settled on Scar telling her alone.

So, she drove me back to my apartment after our date. We may have had a small make out session in the car before I got out.
The evening and night was a full success and the only thought in my head, while I fell asleep last night was, how lucky I am to call Scarlett my girlfriend now.

I wake up with a fuzzy feeling inside my stomach and my brain needs a few more seconds until it remember that I am now in a relationship with the most wonderful woman on earth.
A wide smile forms on my lips and I stare at my ceiling for a few minutes, recollecting the memories of last night's events. Pure happiness fills my body at the memory and with that energy, I get up to make breakfast and get ready for today.

After breakfast I check my phone, to see that Scarlett texted me that she will talk to Rose now and I feel excitement and nervousness building up inside me.
I know that Rose has not really any huge power over what Scarlett and I feel for each other but I also know, that if Rose really dislikes this new connection, Scarlett and I have to rethink the decision.

My nerves make me pace around my apartment a little until I decide that it won't help me to think about it all the time, it'll just make it worse. Maybe I can go for a swim, the training will distract me.
Packing a bag doesn't take long and a few minutes later, I'm on my way to the public pool.

I change into my swimsuit and dive into the water. It feels nice to swim again. Over the last few weeks I didn't quite found the time to do so, except for when I was diving at the aquarium but that's different.
I swim the pool up and down, letting my thoughts float away on the water and the only thing I concentrate on is the way I move and to not swim into anyone or anything. Water makes me feel so free and weightless, as if I'm floating, it's just great.

After I don't know how many rounds, I have enough and get out of the pool. I take a quick shower afterwards and decide to let my hair air-dry.
The sun is obviously higher now and it's gotten nicely warm. My phone vibrates and I pull it out, a smile tugging on my lips as I see that it's a call from Scarlett. I take it and start to walk back to my apartment.

"Hey, how did it go?" I ask and chew on my lip, now worried Rose might not be so happy about it.

"Hey. It went great, that's why I'm calling, actually." Scarlett informs me and I let out a relieved breath and release my lip.

"Rose is really excited about this and has a few questions, that she wanted to ask the both of us. She also wanted to get a muffin and hot chocolate, so I was wondering if you'd be up for meeting us at a coffeeshop?" She asks and I smile at the question.

"Yes, I would love that. I'm currently on my way home from the public pool. Where and when would you like to meet?" I ask and look out for cars before crossing the street.

I hear a bit of whispering on the other end of the line and chuckle when I hear Rose's voice. It's muffled and I can't understand her but I can tell she is happy.

"Rose wants to go to this shop that sells 'fancy cupcakes with sprinkles'. It's over here in Manhattan, so a bit of a way for you..." Scar tells me and by the sound of her voice I can tell that she is quietly asking if I am okay with that.
