FIRST TOUR SELFIE AND CONCERT
*SNAP* The very first selfie was taken, and I turned to smile at Slate whilst I texted the picture to my mother. She had claimed that she wanted to create a scrapbook with our tour adventures, and both Slate and I were okay with that. I tried to move, but Slate held me closer to him.
"I can't believe that you are about to give the very first concert on your very first tour!" I smiled as I snuggled unto his chest. "My mom has received our first selfie,"
"I love the fact that you are so thrilled about this," Slate chuckled. "I absolutely adore seeing you so happy and carefree,"
I blushed and thanked God that Slate couldn't see my face. "Thank you," I whispered. "Thank you for giving me the best birthday gift someone could have asked for," I smiled and moved so that I could finally face him. "You are the best in the world!" I winked. "And I love you so much,"
Slate hugged me tighter and kissed my temple, I was grateful for him to bring me over with him. I really enjoy his company. "Don't worry about it princess," Slate whispered to my ear. "I love you too," He chuckled. "Now, I will kindly ask you to leave the stage as we are about to do the sound check and some fans are allowed to be here with us,"
"Can't I use the ski mask?" I questioned. "I want to stay here with you," I gave him the best puppy dog eyes I could.
"Sure," He beamed and turned me around. "Hurry up Scotty," He added slamming my butt.
"Hey!" I shouted and turned around to flip him the finger. He laughed and I chuckled before running towards to get my ski mask.
Shaking my head I skipped towards the hallway on the right side of the stage, everyone here on the set knew that I was Slate's best friend, and also knew that I was not to appear in any photo that was going to be sent online.
There was music coming from the common room, meaning that either Brian or Ronald or both were inside. I entered the room and found them both playing FIFA, quietly I grabbed my ski mask and slowly made my way towards the door once again.
"What's that for?" Brian questioned as he threw his remote on the couch. "Everyone here knows who you are,"
"Yeah, but you are about to rehearse, and some fans will be here and I want to stay and watch," I shrugged as I placed the ski mask on. "Ugh, I think I need to buy another mask,"
"Yeah, you sure do," Brian chuckled. "How about I help you pick one out?"
I pretended to make a thinking face. "But only if you teach me how to play the banjo," I winked.
"Deal," He winked back at me before turning towards Ronald. "Turn that off, we have some sound check to do,"
"Ugh," Ronald cursed as he threw the controller on the sofa. "Let's go then slowpokes," He winked at me and I frowned. What on earth?
I turned to Brian with a smile as we walked out of the common room. We walked together and he started talking about how he began his career with the banjo. He started the story with how his grandfather used to play, and as he grew up with him given that his father was in the army and his mother ditched him, he grew up enjoying his grandfather's music, so when he turned five, his grandfather bought him his banjo and taught him how to play.
"That is so cool," I smiled. "So, how did you meet Slate? He has never told me the story," I frowned as we entered the stage.
"Hum, I believe it was at the comic store," He chuckled. "He umm, he wanted to buy this Spiderman Comic, and it turned out that I had the last copy," I rolled my eyes with a smile. Slate had gotten me a Spiderman Comic for my birthday a couple of years ago. "He begged me to please give it to him, his argument was that his best friend would die if she didn't get it. Of course, I thought he was being a drama queen, but then he showed me a video of you claiming that it was the only source of life," We both laughed. "So of course, I gave it to him,"
"Wow," I chuckled. "I didn't know he had to beg for it," I blushed and stared at the floor.
"He loves you Scotland," Brian placed his hand on my shoulder causing me to turn towards him. "More than a friend, you know," I gulped but said nothing. "Do you like him more than a friend?" Brian left me alone standing in the middle of the stage staring out at Slate.
Did I like him more than a friend? I mean he is my best friend and I love him. But, was it more than just a best friend's love?
