Forgiveness?

The atmosphere of the bunker bus after Ronald's stunt was so awkward and annoying, I sure hated how it felt, but no one was to blame but Ronald. I was also scared because they weren't on speaking terms, and I know that what he did almost exposed me, but it didn't mean that they had to hate him...

"Slate!" I hollered as I walked out of the bathroom. "Slate! Fella! Where are you?" I sang.

"Over here, Scotty!" Slate shouted poking his head out the door of his dressing room. "Is there something wrong or something you need princess?"

I gave him a sweet smile and hugged him. "Hey, I do need something," I gave him puppy eyes. "I want to hang out with only you, it's been a while since I had you to myself,"

Slate let out a chuckle before he kissed my knuckles. "Sure princess, just you and me,"

He grabbed my hand and guided me out towards the tour bus, or as you know it, the bunker bus. We still had like a whole day before the next concert, which was tonight... We could have hanged out with everyone backstage, but we wanted our privacy, you know, being truly ourselves, hence the reason we had to move from backstage.

"What movie do you want to see?" Slate questioned as we entered the bunker bus. "I believe I have several Marvel movies,"

"I know that I have scary movies," I nudged him. "So... what are we watching?"

Slate smirked and winked at me. "A scary and a Marvel one," I chuckled and nodded. "Get your laptop and meet me here in the living room,"

"Sure thingy," I stuck my tongue out and walked away.

Once I was back, Slate was already preparing the popcorn and the sweets. His laptop was already set up with Captain America and The Winter Soldier. I rolled my eyes and prepared my laptop with Silent Hill. I know it is weird, but we have a tradition that started at our very early sleepovers. We have always wanted to watch different movies, so we decided to play our movies and somehow create a new one, I know that it is weird, but we made it work.

"Are we ready for a movie marathon?" Slate questioned as he sat down next to me. "Come here princess," He smiled and I snuggled into him.

I smiled at him and pressed myself to his chest. I immediately felt safe, and for some odd reason that was the thing with Slate, he could always make me feel safe with a simple look. "Play," I whispered and we started watching our movies.

~~~~~~
I snuggled further into the softness that was embracing me. I half opened my eyes and saw that I was covered in a sheet and some pillows. I rubbed my eyes a yawn as I sat up and stared at the empty couch. I sighed as I tried to look for the things so that I could clean up, only to find that Slate had already done it for me.
"Hey, you're finally up," I heard Ronald speak.
"Hey, yeah," I replied wryly.
"I want to apologize," Ronald smiled as he fixed his shirt pocket, I shrugged it off and nodded.
"So, you want to apologize?" I raised my eyebrow in disbelief.
"Yes," He sighed. "I was about of line Scotland, you are not only Slate's best friend, but you are also my friend. I still don't understand why you want to keep yourself out of the spotlight, but whatever the reason is, I have to respect your decisions,"
I gave him a simple nod. "Yes, you should respect my decision," I agreed. "And I am glad that you are going to respect it. So yes Ronald," I sighed. "I do forgive you, accidents happen, and I am simply glad that you are going to be more careful from now on,"
"Yeah," Ronald smirked, and as he opened his mouth to say something else, Slate and Brian barged into the bunker bus, mad as hell, may I add.
"HOW DARE YOU TRICK HER LIKE THAT!" Slate roared as he tackled Ronald to the ground.
I jumped from my seat and stared at the scene. "What is going on?"
Brian appeared from the hall and opened the laptop to their webpage. "He tricked you," He whispered. "Ever since he started talking to you, he was streaming the video, making sure that the world knows that you are Slate's best friend,"
I stared at the screen breathing rapidly trying to comprehend what had just happened. I turned to Ronald. "You deserve to burn in hell," I snarled and ran out of the bunker bus.
How dare Ronald do something like that? I know that he doesn't know all the hate that I received before, how everyone blamed me for the death of my father, and how I almost kill myself because of all the hate, but still, it was my decision. His apology seemed so genuine. I felt tears running down my face, but I didn't have the mind to clean them up until I felt someone else doing it for me. I sniffled and looked up, only to find Slate smiling sadly at me. I tried to contain a sob as I crashed into a hug.
"I'm sorry princess," Slate whispered as he held me. "I promised that I was going to protect you. I have sworn to it, and I will keep my promise," He kissed my head. "I will make sure that what happened last time, happens right now,"
"Why would he do that?" I cried.
"Because he is jealous," Slate sighed. "Do you wish to go back to the bunker bus?" I shook my head and Slate sighed once again. "Come here," He said and picked me up bridal style. "Let's get you to my dressing room,"
"I am disgusted by him," I spoke. "I might even hate him,"
"Don't waste your energy hating someone who is not worth it," Slate replied. "Cold coffee?" I nodded and closed my eyes feeling safe in Slate's arms.
He is my best friend and my saviour.
