As the school day drew to an end I was in my final lesson of the day sociology.
"Elliot" I heard someone call my name.
I looked up with a surprised as I glanced over the room to see who it was, before I realised it was my teacher Mr Brown."Uh, yes sir?" I quickly replied
"Could you stay behind after the lessons finished please" Mr Brown asked
I nodded in agreeing to his request. After a long fifteen minutes the bell echoed down the once empty halls, as everyone raced out to enjoy the weekend that was now upon us.
As requested I stayed behind after everyone had left the classroom
"Elliot, I know that you have been through a lot over the summer. But it's been six weeks now and these next few years are the most important. It's about time you get over what happened. " Mr Brown said harshly as I fight back the tears that was too fall down my face as I clutch my hand trying with every little bit of strength not to put punch him.
I grabbed my books as I replied "yes sir. I'm sorry sir"
I walked out of the classroom, down the hall to my car in amazement to how someone could say that to somebody who has just gone through what I had just been through, its a life changing thing.
I continued down the hall to my car with a few tear stains on my cheeks.
After I had reached my car and drove away from school, I decided that I didn't want to go home right away. especially after what Mr Brown had said to me. So I decided to go to my 'secret place'. Not that it is actually secret or anything. Its the lookout point on top of forest hill just outside of town that had a magnificent view of the town at night.
