Chapter Three

Liam's Pov

After I had walked out of study hall, I just stood out in the hall way gutted that joe didn't follow me out, all I wanted was to apologise, to joe I just wanted to make everything better.

Then all off a sudden I heard a loud thud, I looked around and that when I noticed that joe had come out, I smiled to myself and began to walk, I looked behind me to see if he was following, to my surprise he was.

I walked to the roof staircase, gently opening the door. As I walked up to the roof I had this sudden erg to kiss Joe I walked faster up the stairs and waited for Joe's arrival.

When I saw that Joe was walking up the stairs, I became nervous, I don't know why but all I could think about was kissing him, and saying sorry to him, once joe had arrived on the roof top he slowly walked over to me,

"Hey"

"Urm hi" Joe replied confusedly

"I know that it's kind of random that I asked you to come up here, but I really need to tell you something" I stated

Joe just looked at me and gave me a slight nod, letting me know to continue.

"So the reason I asked you to come up here with me is because, I wanted to apologise for everything I have ever done to you, the name calling, the rumours, the throwing things, and the main thing is getting you beaten up. I know this won't change anything between us and it doesn't undo what I have done, I really am so sorry Joe" I explained, with what I thought was sincerity.

Out of POV

Joe just looked at Liam, he didn't say anything at all. There were thousands of things running through his head.

Then Joe began to open his mouth, but what came out was to Liam's surprise.

"Are you kidding me Liam, this changes everything!" Joe exclaimed

"Really, Really Joe?" Liam asked with a slight smile appearing in the corner of his lips

"Does it hell change anything Liam! for the past three years you have done nothing but hurt me emotionally, mentally and physically. You don't have a clue what you have done to me, to hell with that it's not just me, it's my family to!" Joe spoke angrily

"j-joe, I am so sor" Liam began to say but Joe cut him off

"Don't even go there Liam, you have done nothing but bring misery and heartbreak into my life. Every single day you did something, weather is was call me a name or two, or beating me up, I still went home and cried! The time you beat me up, yeah well how about this Liam, I didn't sleep for weeks on end, waking up in the middle of the night more than once, screaming terrified, that it would happen again!"

Liam just stood there and listened to Joe, he knew there was more to come.

"because of everything you have done to me, I have had to go to countless doctors and psychiatrists, that's not even the bad thing, the most awful thing is, lying in bed in the middle of the night, hearing your own mother crying, because she is so afraid of your safety, and hearing having her own nightmares, about me being seriously hurt, or trying to commit suicide. So no Liam, it doesn't change anything, the damage has been done, and I am going to have to live with it for the rest of my life, just like you will have to live with the 'guilt'. Joe finish

Joe turned around and walked toward the stairs, leaving a horrified Liam standing there with tears in his eyes.
