Chapter 6

Joe's POV

I took a deep breath before continuing.

"She was in a car accident, well she was hit by a drunk driver, he was speeding then he came in to the lane my mom was in, and hit her head on. He killed her instantly"

"Oh my, Joe I am so sorry" Liam replied

I suddenly got up and ran toward the forest, I could hear Liam following me. I felt me feet go from under me and the next thing I knew I was on the floor facedown.

"JOE!" Liam shouted as he ran over to me and helped me up.

Liam's POV

I chased after Joe as he ran into the forest, suddenly I saw him trip and fall I ran the as fast as I could to close the distance between us and help him.

Once I got to him and helped him to sit up, I saw the tears falling down his checks as his eye's filled up.

I pulled him in to my arms and held him tight,

"Joe please don't cry" I whispered into his ear

"Liam can you take me home now please?" Joe asked as he cried in to my chest

"Of course"

I stood up and helped him as we walked to my car I noticed I never let go of Joe's hand, once we reached the car I opened the door for him and walked round and got in the driver's side.

The car ride was silent, I knew Joe wasn't really up for talking, so I didn't say anything.

Once we arrived at Joe's house, I shut off the engine and looked at Joe.

"Are you okay?" I asked him

"Yeah" he replied as he made his was out of the car

"Are you coming?" Joe asked me

I looked at him with disbelief, is he really inviting me in to his house , I asked myself as I got out of my car and walked over to him.

Joe's house was nothing special, it was a normal sized, with one big oak wooden door, and beautiful vintages windows.

As we entered I was faced with the most beautiful staircase ever, it is a glass and wooden staircase that lead down stairs, when we reached Joe's room it was simple and neat. He has a double bed in the centre of the room and on-suite and, a computer desk in the far corner.

We took a seat on his bed, and looked at each other for a moment.

"Liam, please don't tell anyone about my mom" Joe spoke

"I promise I won't, does anybody know"

"No nobody but my family, I haven't been able to tell anybody"

"Joe, why not?" I asked

"I-I well because it's my fault she died, and I don't want anybody to know that" Joe told me

"Oh Joe, babe it wasn't your fault she died. Your mom was hit by a drunk driver and nobody could have predicted that or done anything about it." I spoke as I put my arm around him

"YES it is! she was driving back home after she came and dropped my books off at Cal's house, because I decided to spend the night." Joe said holding back his tears

"Babe, don't be so silly, it was a freak accident and she was just in the wrong place and the wrong time" I pulled Joe in to my arms and gave him a hug.

Joe's POV

Liam was asking me all these things about my mom, and am sure he called me babe a few times too. But what was really going round in my head was why he followed me. I thought to myself and then asked.

"Why did you follow me Liam" I asked as I looked in to his eyes

"I told you before, was worried about you and I didn't want you wondering the forest alone in the dark" Liam responded

"I know that, but why you have done is bully me and made my life hell. Since the day you met me. So why now. Why today?" I spoke

"It's a long story, so let's just say I came to me senses and realised what I had to become." Liam replied shyly

"No! I want to know why you have spent the last two years bullying me. When I have done nothing to you at all!" I screamed lightly to him

I couldn't help but look into his eyes, and that's when I knew I was inevitably and completely in love with my bully. I am in love with Liam Jefferson.

We looked in to each-other's eyes and began to close the gap between our lips, we were so close I could feel his heart beating fast against my chest, is warm breath hitting my lips. My hands are sweating like mad and my heart it racing. As the gap closed us .....

But what will happen?
