Harbor of Minuta

The breeze gently blew across Captain Zerna's face. What a great day to sail and deliver goods to the Kingdom of Agdabar and create an alliance with them. He thought to himself as he gazed at his beautiful ship, the Sunrise. "My love," a gentle voice called behind him. He pivoted on his foot and smiled. His wife gazed at him with beautiful green eyes, flowing red hair, and freckles that dotted her pale skin. He swept her into a hug before placing his lips on hers.

"Careful Zerna. I still have a child waiting to come. Why must you leave now? Our child could come any day."

"Elaine, you know this voyage is crucial to the people of Agdabar. They require our supplies as much as we need theirs."

"I know, but I want you here when the baby arrives. Besides, that is such a long voyage and you are crossing the Sea of Genevieve. We have both heard the stories of what is in that. Isn't there another path or is this the only way?"

"I understand where you are coming from, but this will help our child have a better life if I do this for our family. Yes, I have heard the stories, but they are nothing. Do not believe everything, darling. I'll be back in about five months."

"Five months?! I will need you then like I need you now! I want to name our child together."

"Calm down. I promise that you will be just fine. You will have enough money to support you and the baby. If you need some names, here are my two options. If it's a girl, I would like her name to be Josanna, but if it is a boy, name him Emanuel. I must leave now. I love you and will be back before you know it."

He winked at her and kissed her forehead. Elaine gazed up at him and murmured, "I love you too. You better keep your promise." He chuckled, kissed her again, and walked towards the massive ship.

..................

"Captain Zerna! You finally arrived!" A voice bellowed above him. He jumped a little before looking up at the mainmast. "Johnas! I thought you weren't coming!" Johnas climbed down the mast and landed right next to him. Johnas was one of Zerna's closest crewmates and friends. He had very light, almost white due to the sun, blonde hair, chocolate brown eyes, and very dark skin. He had muscle that rippled throughout his chest and all the way down his legs. He was charismatic and he knew he was good looking, but he was compassionate to everyone and was a gentleman.

"Well, I wouldn't miss a big voyage like this. This will make some good money and I can finally start to find a wife and settle down."

"Oh, I see. It wasn't to pester your captain and cause him trouble. It was for the money. That's great! The captain can finally relax."

"You didn't let me finish, Captain. I was also going to spend and, as you refer to, pester you for the next five months!" Zerna rolled his eyes as Johnas punched him in the arm. "Figured," he replied. Johnas laughed and walked back to his place of work. "Alright men! Let's set sail to the new horizon!" Zerna's voice washed over the crew and they immediately yelled back, "Yes Captain!"

As he placed his stuff next to a mast, he noticed six pairs of eyes staring at him from underneath the stairs. He slowly stood and marched over to the stairs. Whispering suddenly went silent when he approached. He crouched down and his eyes widened. There were two boys who looked very similar in appearances and four girls were three had blonde hair and one had brown hair. "Well, what do I have on my ship? A bunch of stowaways." They all glanced at each other then back at the captain. "What should I do with all of you? Throw you overboard?" They all shook their heads as fast they could.

"Captain, we are ready for sail!" He looked up and hollered, "Johnas, lead the ship out of the harbor! I am occupied at the moment!" He lowered himself to the deck and looked each of them in the eye. "Zerna, what's the problem?" Johnas stood above him and gazed underneath. "Oh. I will do that for you." He turned on his heel and sprinted up the stairs to the wheel. "Why don't you tell me your names? Let's start with the girls."
