"Grandpa. Could you tell us the story about the shipwreck?" The little blonde hair boy replied while looking at the wrinkled man. "Jeremy, you want to hear that story again? How about his training to become a captain?" Lilian questioned as she kissed the top of Jeremy's head. "Mama. It's my favorite story!" He stuck out his pouty lip and looked up the old man. He smiled as he began to replay the events of when he was a captain.

"How did you survive?" Jeremy was sprawled out on the hand-woven rug. He hummed inside his throat as the grandfather thought. "Maybe another time, son. That is a different story," he replied while getting a cup of tea from Lilian. "Why not? You can shorten it up for me," Jeremy gave the grandfather the pouty lip. The old man chuckled and shook his head. "Maybe another time, sweetheart," Lilian smiled as the old man took a sip of tea from the white cup.
"I'm home!"
"Fatherdy!"
Jeremy leaped up into his father's arm. "Hey Father," Emanuel replied while placing Jeremy on his left hip. "Hello, son. I just told Jeremy about the Sunrise and you know that is his favorite." Emanuel smiled as he kissed the side of Jeremy's head. "Honey," Lilian replied, "How was work?" She received a kiss on the lips. "Well, it was the usual. Sweat my fat off and then go deliver it around, but I heard rumors of something," Emanuel replied as he sat down on a rickety old bench.
"They say that the Twilight sank and there were no survivors. The royal family, the crew, and the captain. Did you know this Lilian?" The mother of Jeremy was standing in the kitchen with tears rolling down her cheeks. She shook her head 'no'. Emanuel sighed and continued, "Our kingdom doesn't have a ruler so they were debating to have the advisor or wait and see if anyone did survive." Emanuel then cocked his eyebrow and then lowered his voice, "But a messenger came into the square and said that the King over in Alumbus saw something suspicious."
"King Willis over in Alumbus said that some of his men were going to gather the swordfish and saw smoke rising from an island. It was said that it was close to where the Sunrise and the Twilight sank. He wasn't sure that it could be castaways from the Twilight or a light from the sky struck the island. He is debating on what to do, but he most likely won't investigate." Emanuel stood and walked near his wife to comfort her and Jeremy stood and placed his head on his mom's hip.
The old wrinkled man went pale. His mind went far into the past. Come back soon! Make sure you get us lots of clothing! Jae was the sunshine in our camp. She was always happy even when there was darkness. She is amazing. I wish she was my daughter. The man's hands began to shake and took in a huge long breath. He grasped the armrests and tried to stand. "He needs to get them." His voice came out low and started to rise. "Emanuel, tell the king that he needs to go!" Emanuel walked over to the old man and kneeled in front of him.
"What are you talking about, father?"
"The king needs to go to that island! They are there!"
"Who?!"
"My castaways! Jae is there and Sarah! The rest of the kids are there!"
Emanuel took his hand and squoze it. "Zerna! Come back to the world of the living!" Emanuel waved his hand in front of Zerna's eyes. The man looked at the boy in front of him.
"Go talk to the king of Alumbus! Castaways are there and they are in danger! Who knows what is going on with them! I can feel that they are alive, but they need our help! If we don't hurry, they all might be dead and we will only see their bodies on the beach! Hurry, Emanuel! Please hurry!" He was shaking his head and squeezing his son's shoulders hard that there would be scars. Emanuel shook the man and tried to get him out of the clouds and to look him in the eye. "Father! What castaways! What is wrong!"
Emanuel leaped up and grabbed his cloak. "Father. Can I come?" The little boy grabbed his cloak and grasped his father's hand. Emanuel released the little boy's hand and flew out the door. "Jeremy, come here dear. We can follow Fatherdy on the brown horse." She grabbed her burgundy cloak, picked up Jeremy, and closed the door. "Why did I forget about my crew? You could have already been safe! Lord, please help them," Zerna cried. He looked up to the ceiling and wept.
