The Sea of Genevieve
One Month Later:
The sun was down and everything was still, but it was chilly. Jules came up on deck and saw the sky filled with clouds. She gazed around to see Nick standing by the side of the boat looking at the ocean. She glided towards him with perfect grace. She stood beside him and asked, "What does it look like tonight?" All he did was stare out at the sea as if lost in thought. Jules was shocked. She asked again, "Nick. What does it look like tonight?" King Charles walked up the stairs and saw his gorgeous daughter trying to talk to Captain Nickolas. "Nick, I command you to answer my daughter, immediately!" Nick jumped at the booming voice. He looked at Jules and Charles and he bowed. "So sorry Your Majesty and my lady. Well, it will rain a little rain, but then it will clear up. There is also a thing coming soon." King Charles raised his eyebrow at Nick. "Sorry Your Excellence for being vague. There is something that I wish to discuss with you. Could you and I talk in my plan room?" Charles smiled, "Why of course."
While they were away Jules looked up to heaven and saw the stars coming out. She turned her head to the east and saw a sliver of the moon peak over the water. Then she heard something in the distance. First it sounded like a train whistle with splashes of water. When the sound came closer, she leaned over the edge of The Midnight and saw white crescent dolphins leaping out of the water. They stopped leaping and saw Jules. They called to her and squirted salty streams of seawater at her. She laughed and smiled at them.
When they went back to leaping, she looked back at the stars. "It has already been a month since we left Minuta. I am glad that this alliance will finally be made. However, I miss Carter and just land in general. I do enjoy the time I have spent with Nick. He has been so kind to me and has danced with me on deck with a sky full of stars and he does it when almost everyone is asleep. His hand has always seemed to hold mine and it just feels good." She shook her head and whispered to herself, "Figure out your feelings! Who do I want more? Carter or Nick? Oh I need some help."
Jules threw her golden hair over her shoulder and rolled her eyes. She saw her father and Nick walking up the still shiny steps towards her. Jules smiled and replied sarcastically, "Finally! It took you long enough. What was so important that I couldn't hear about?" Charles shook his head while Nick smiled so big his glistening white were shining like the stars up above. Jules nodded her head while trying to hide her blush that rose from her cheeks. He said, "Would you please excuse me, Your Highness, and my King?" Charles nodded his head. Nick bowed to them and strolled lightly away. Charles replied to Jules, "You need to come with me to your room."
"Ok" she mumbled. She followed her father to her small bedroom.

"Alright everybody, let's get all set up! This is the happiest moment of my life." Nick replied cheerfully. He was in his crimson suit with a white handkerchief in his pocket. In his hand, he clutched a little black box made of velvet in his hands. Maribella scurried over in her golden ball gown with a basket of daisy petals in her hands. "Nick, will you be able to impress my little Jules? She is my baby girl and I know that she has a mind of her own especially when it comes to impressing her," she replied. "I know she loves me. We would always hold hands when we were younger," he smiled. The crew stood in position. They all were dressed in their tight white shirt and all looked toward the door. Jules was coming soon.

Jules entered in her light blue dress that her father gave her and she didn't want to wear her high heels so she went barefoot. She had followed her father's instructions like waiting in her room for about five minutes to finish up her looks and come to his office after that. It was lit brightly from the window, but she didn't dare look. Maybe they have a surprise for me. She thought to herself as she walked into the office. She looked around and stumbled backward. Hearing the hem of her skirt tear slightly, she smiled politely and gave a curtsy in an awkward way. She stared down at the red carpet that she was standing on. She looked straight ahead and saw her mother throwing petals of daisies. When she set down her basket, her high heels clicked the floor. Maribella wrapped her gloved hands around her daughter's waist. "Mom, what is going on," the young maiden whispered in Maribella's ear. "I just hope you will be good and accept this great gift that will make all of us happy. Now walk up that aisle like how I taught you." Maribella pulled back and smiled. Jules saw Nick appear and smiled. The crew pulled out their swords and created an arch. She walked like her mother taught. Her head held high, back straight, and lifted up her skirt. The Queen of Minuta detected her bare feet and glared at Jules. Jules shrugged her shoulders and continued to glide down the red carpet. At the end, the Princess was immediately hugging Nick and when she let him go, she blushed. He took in a little breath and went down on one knee.
