Maribella saw a man with a lifeless snake laying on his stomach. Seeing him heaving, she shuffled over to the man. The male was shaking and when Maribella kneeled before him, he started to muster out his words. "Your Majesty... I am so sorry... I am a failure to you," he started to cough up blood, "I am a failure... to myself... I must leave my body." As his eyes started to close, he grabbed a chain around his neck. Taking it off his neck, he placed it in the queen's hand. "My name is... Luke." Eyes lay open and Maribella looked at him. She couldn't stand seeing lifeless eyes stare at her. She closed his eyelids to have him look like he was sleeping. Looking at the chain, it had a metal heart that had letters which probably might be words. Maribella squinted and read Luke, Mary, and Chrysanthemum.
Gasping, she gently placed the heart necklace over her pale neck. Dashing across the deck, she found another crewmate that was fighting a little black snake. Stopping halfway from the battle, the snake sensed her presence. Turning its head toward the queen, it hissed. Maribella wanted to run, but her legs wouldn't budge. Seeing the snake's head turned around, Emrys lifted up his sword and slashed the head off. Maribella's face went to disgust as the black, eerie blood ran. Running to the side of the ship, Maribella upchucked. A sailor named Emrys dazedly walked to the queen and grabbed Maribella. Maribella touched his face and yelled, "Are you okay!" The wind howled so loud that you couldn't even think or hear.
Rain poured on his black hair, Emrys opened his mouth, but his voice was covered by a howl. Both flipping around, they saw Emrys' friend being pulled down by all the little black coils sliding down over the ship.
Maribella's hands felt the body of Emrys release from her grip. Turning around, she saw him clinging to the wooden pole that held the mast. She soon realized that the ship was spinning faster. Running to the side of the ship, she saw black lines going around the ship.
Frantically searching, she grabbed the bar in front of her.

Nick released Jules and stared at her, "Why did you change your mind about marrying me? We were the closest of friends. I am your diamond." Jules looked at him as rain poured on her satin cheeks. "I did want to marry you, but when I soon realized that you were married to Abigail and I love someone else. I wouldn't let you have my heart when she still loved you." Nick pulled out the box made of velvet and opened it. Looking at his hands tremble, Jules reached out and touched his fingers.
"Look. I know that you love me, but I don't love you that way. I won't marry you, but I will be your friend," Jules replied. "I don't want you as a friend. I want you to be with me forever," Nick cried. Then they heard the boards splinter open. Looking down at her bare feet, she saw the ship start to break. Deep crevices started to form. The ship moaned and the ship broke. Screaming in horror, she fell into the crystal clear water as it started to fill with red and black blood. Struggling to get back up to the surface, Jules' face saw the masts start to tilt through the crevices.
Jules started to swim to a barrel and when she turned around lifeless bodies fell to the ocean. "Rest in peace, men," Jules gasped out. Jules looked up again and saw her mother clinging to the mast and crying.
Jules' mouth gaped open. As she heard Nick scream and curse, a wave of icy water flowed over her. Jules, feeling like she was drowning, was struggling to get back up, again. She was whirled around. When she finally came back up, the ship started to ignite with conflagration. Frantically searching for something to hold onto, she saw the serpent rise up and screech. Jules' heart was pierced with the screech as if she felt lifeless.

Maribella didn't have any strength left, but didn't want to fall down to the depths. Seeing Emrys struggling to hang onto the bar, she felt that something was watching her. Slowly lifting her head up, she saw the serpent's eye staring at her. Her face turned pale as she thought she could see nothing, but darkness. The light from the moon was soaked up in those piercing eyes. Maribella was so dazed that she released and before she knew it, she was in the water. She couldn't breathe and the dress dragged her down. She knew that she wouldn't make it out alive and would be with her husband again. Until a body broke through the water
