Hey everybody! Thank you so much for reading my novel and supporting me! I love you guys!

Wow, what a story! Just letting you all know that this story is not over. I thought that this novel was going to end just like that, but my mind changed. I realized that this story can't end with a cliffhanger. Instead, I thought that I should create a sequel to this story. Make sure you guys look out for the next book!

So this fictional story was made up by me when I was in 6th grade. At first it was just something I thought would be fun to write. I then went to a writer's conference at Snow College in Ephraim, Utah. Three publishers heard my story and they loved it. I was like Oh my gosh, should I make this into an actual story? So I talked to my oldest sister and she thought it was an amazing idea. That is how I took off into the world of writing.

I probably had over 50, maybe even more writer's blocks writing this novel. Some of you may not know what that is, when writers can't think of an idea or how to make the story flow. It drives writers insane. It was a battle that was tough to fight against and sometimes it took me a month to get past writer's block.

So I couldn't have written this story without the following people: Trishna, Shiann, Aubrey, Tara, Mady, Sarah, Benjamin, Bransyn, Baylee, Brayden, Tylen, Ambrea, Brett, and Kristy. These people have helped in so many ways and some ways they might not know. Thank you, I love you so much.

I know that I couldn't have finished without Trishna because she was always asking me about it and I hadn't finished my book yet. I was actually telling her about it when I first started writing it and she was intrigued by it. She then pushed me to finish it because she wanted to read all of it. Thank you so much for all you did, love you Trish.

I really want to give a huge shout out to my Grandma Faatz, she always encouraged me to keep writing even though I was having writer's block. She also helped me with finding a publishing company. She would always ask me how it was going and how I can send my story to companies. I almost wanted to quit because I couldn't think of how the story should go. She picked me up, supported me, helped cheer me up, and said to keep going even though it was hard. She also told me that if I didn't finish, she would whip my butt. She was determined to help me complete this huge project. I love you Grandma! Thanks for all you do.

So how I made these grenolds was with my brother Brayden. He is a very creative guy and loves to draw. He helped me picture this creature and made it seem real. He drew this creature out on paper so he could express his ideas.

I want to lastly acknowledge my family for supporting me and giving me hope that this book will get published. They have given me ideas, showed me that they wanted me to succeed in my goal, and not ever give up. I love you guys.

To write means more than putting pretty words on a page; The act of writing is to share a part of your soul with the world. This novel is a part of my soul and it has made me feel happy to have reached one of my life goals. I have laughed, cried, and felt hope through my writing and I have felt great joy. I hope you have felt these same emotions as you read Ship Wrecked.

Writer's life is never easy and I hope that you will support me and help me. This story has meant the world to me and I hope it means something greater to you! I also want to tell you all that this helped me through my trials and struggles. I hope it helps you with whatever challenges you have and gives you strength to keep going. Hugs and kisses to all who read this and can feel the love from me. Good-bye for now and look out for my next book...

Happy Writing!
