Chapter 5

Danny

Marks house was one big party. Several kids were running around like crazy and you had to watch out not to fall over them. I saw that Mark was going dressed up as a badass zombie. This party is more of a Halloween theme then just magical creatures. Glen was as a devil (leterally this time...) Rina, Marks wife was a witch. I am dressed as a doctor with fake blood on me. I was only interested in one person. Where the hell is Nessa?

Mark was walking towards me. He saw me standing alone. 'Where is Ness?', he asked. 'I wish I knew', I said. 'She will... wow', Mark said as he turned his head to the door where Nessa and Andi walked.

Nessa looked so hot as a vampire. Wow those cloths. Very sexy. My jaw fell on the ground. Wow wow wow.

'What's the matter doctor, lost words?', Nessa said smiling. 'I... O have no diagnose for ya', I stuttered. She smiled at me. 'You look hot', Glen said to Andi. I chuckled. Glen has an eye for Andi, but he doesn't want to admit it because she is my sister.

'Let's dance', Nessa said. 'Yes please', I said. I hold out my hand for her and she grabbed it gladly. 'Sorry it took so long, this damn costume was really hard to put on', Nessa said. 'I bet, but boy you look hot in it', I said. 'You are a sexy doctor too Danny boy', she said. 'Well thank you, I might change my carreer now', I said. She chuckled. 'How do you walk on these', I asked pointing at her heels. 'Ha I don't, I just shuffle a bit on them, I have never heels this high', she said. I smiled at her and stroke her cheek. She bounced back a little. 'What?', I asked. 'There are people here Dan... do you want to complicate things?', she asked.

I had to say it... I just had to before it was too late and I couldn't. I was a coward. 'Dan, I think we should stop this, not being friends but the benefits part', Nessa said. I nodded. I was numb. Couldn't think straight anymore. Fuck. She didn't feel the same for me. 'Dan... can I talk to you?', Mark said suddenly. 'Why... does it have to be now?', I asked annoyed. 'Yes now, we have a problem', Mark said. 'Go Danny, find me outside okay', Nessa said. I nodded again.

'What is the big problem Mark', I snapped. 'Hey I thought you needed to be resqued from woman talk', Mark said. 'What... no Mark, I was in the middle of a conversation, you had a bad timing God!', I said and I stormed off. Making my way outside.

'Nessa!', I yelled. 'Easy Dan... I am right here', Nessa said and she smiled at me. My heart was pounding in my chest. Jesus damn, she looked so hot in that costume. Not that she wasn't normally hot, but still.

'Dan... what's the matter?', she asked worried. 'Ehm well why did you brought me here?', I asked. 'I don't really know exactly', she said. 'You are lieing, you know why you are just too afraid to say it, but I am too, I can't say it, I am worried it will screw up everything we have from the past week', I said. 'I am afraid', Nessa whispered and she came closer. There was almost no space left between us. 'I... I think I am falling for you Nessa', I whispered so soft that I was afraid she wouldn't hear, but also afraid she would hear. 'Danny what are you doing to me?', she asked slightly annoyed. But the smile on her lips was more then the annoyance. 'I am not sure what to do next', I confessed. 'How about you kiss me', Nessa suggested with a smile.

She didn't need to say that twice. The gap between us was fully closed as I put my hands on her hips. Our foreheads were leaning against each other. Electricity flew trough my body. I pressed my lips softly on hers. It tasted different then the last time I kissed her. It meant something this time. 'Wow', Nessa said catching her breath which was a good thing because I needed to catch my breath too. She put her hand on my cheek and it was like someone turned on the heat. Her thumb went across my cheek and made way towards my lips. She was leaning forward and softly kissed me again. This time it was a longer kiss.

My heart skipped a beat. And fast. It was like I knew who I was again. With her I could handle the world. It was like a never ending love story in our case. Our kiss however was interrupted by one of the kids who watched us. 'Eeeeewww', she said. It was a 4 year old. She was sticking out her tongue and ran off, her fairy wings flew with her.

'Jee, we might want to find a better kissing spot', Nessa giggled. I laughed. 'Let's go back inside', I said. 'Okay, because I want to dance, this took like 2 hours, I am staying at least half of it', Nessa said.

We walked back inside and knew that Mark and Glen were going to give us a hard time. Weather we like it or not.

'Ah the lovebirds are back', Mark blurted out. 'Yup', Nessa said popping the 'P'. 'Did you kissed and made up?', Mark said. Nessa rolled with her eyes as she spoke to Mark with a flair of annoyance, but also with humor.

'We kissed, I bet he is a much better kisser then you are', Nessa said. 'Ouch, you haven't kissed me, but be careful, the wife is watching', Mark said grabbing his wife by her waste. Rina smiled at Nessa. 'Were you flirting with my hubby?', she asked and she laughed. 'Nope, not doing that sort of stuff, you know me, I am a good girl now', Nessa said. I made a sarcastic noise.

'What, do you disagree', Nessa said with a smile. 'Maybe', I replied. 'Well you are not getting any tonight then I suppose', Nessa said. 'Wait what...', I said. 'Baby please don't mean that', I begged. 'What would happen tonight then', Rina said with a wink to Nessa. 'Oh no fair, woman team up against man', Mark pouted.

'What was going to happen tonight... I guess that is for me to know and for you to find out', Nessa said with a wink and she grabbed my hand and pulled me on the dancefloor.

'No worries baby, not about tonight I mean', Nessa whispered. I smiled at her. Boy she could play mean. But I liked that in a way. She is the best girlfriend ever. I can't believe it took us this long to realize that we are both right for each other in a way that is more then just friends.

She kissed me softly on my lips. They were quickly swollen from excitement. I kissed her right back.

A few kids were watching and she pulled back. Oops, might not be the best moment or make-out spot.

'You could get a room you know', Glen yelled from across the room. 'Shut up', I said. 'Kids present you know', Mark said. 'Look who's talking', I grumbled.

'Come on, let's go to the nearest Irish Pub we can find and drink some real beer', Nessa said. 'I like the way your brain works', I said. We both laughed as we told Mark and Glen we were leaving the party. 'Dressed like that, you are both nuts', Ian said.

'Hey if you want to come, by all means, were is Andi?', I asked. 'Snogging someones face off', Ian said and he pointed to Glen. 'Ooow and he was telling us to get a room, hypo...', I said. Nessa giggled. 'Good that they are kissing, let's hope they remember each other in the morning', I said.

'Don't be so sure of Andi, Glen is the sober one, I don't think Andi is drunk', I said. 'Well good for them, let's go babe', Nessa said. 'Now you get to call me babe, how is that fair', I pouted. 'You get to call me however you want to call me', Nessa whispered. 'Aaaw, you naughty vampire', I said as we walked to the nearest pub we found.

'Hey mate, Jesus fuck, what are you wearing... a vampire walks into a bar and...', Mike said. He was the bartender and knew me very well. Nessa giggled. 'Nessa meet Mike, Mike meet Nessa, Nessa is my girlfriend', I said. 'Hot girlfriend you have there', Mike said. 'Keep your paws off her, or you will regret it', I warned. 'Don't worry Danny, I have my own girlfriend now', Mike said. 'Really, cool, hey we would love to have a pint of Guinness', I said. 'Coming right up Dan', Mike said.

'Do you know everyone in Dublin?', Nessa asked. 'Almost everyone', I replied. 'Shit...', Nessa said suddenly staring at someone in the corner. 'What's the matter?', I asked. 'My mum, that's the matter, what the fuck is she doing here', Nessa said...

Another update guys. Going to see mum at the hospital soon. IV is off, hope she is better then yesterday, kidney's are not fully in function. Looks like mum and I both have kidney problems. Writing helps for distraction. Hope you find this chapter any good. What do you think of Nessa and Dan. I think they are pretty amazing. And what about Andi and Glen! Looks like the party is rock on right :) And what's with Nessa's mum in the pub? How come she is in a pub and not thinking about her own daughter on Christmas. What's that about...
