Chapter 17

Nessa

I woke up in his arms. His beautiful strong arms. Soft and gentle at the same time. I smiled as I layed very still not to wake him up. He looked so incredible sweet and peaceful. His breathing went up and down slowly. His chest moved up and down with it. 'Babe, stop staring at me, it is creapy', Danny said. I laughed. 'Dan baby, you are one to watch', I flirted. 'You little flirt', Danny said and suddenly he was wide awake and he pulled me between his legs so I leaned against his chest. This were the most precious moments in life you have to hold on.

'Do you mind, some people try to sleep', Mark said moaning from above. 'Sorry', I said. He grinned as he looked down from the bunkbed. 'Ness... I know you and Dan might want to spend the day together, but I would like to get to know you better, if it's all right with you and Dan of course, can we take a walk after breakfast?', Mark asked. 'Ehm yeah sure it's fine by me', I said surprised. 'Fine by me too then, babe I am not going to be that guy you have to ask permission from', Danny said. 'Yeah I hate those guys', I said with a smile and I gave him a kiss on the cheek.

'Hey', Glen said as we stood in the kitchen making breakfast for Mark and Danny who sucked making food. 'Hey Glen, slept well?', I asked. 'Yeah fine, so I overheard Mark is taking you out for a walk to get to know you better and I wanted to do the same thing actually, because I really like you, but you don't know anything about me and I don't know amything about you', Glen said. 'Sure thing, I would love to talk to you Glen Power', I said with a smile. 'And I would love talking to you Nessa McLaren', Glen said with a smile as well. 'You make Dan very happy, after Irma I didn't thought he was going to be happy', Glen said. 'I hope I can keep him happy, I am planning on doing that hopefully forever, that would be our ultimate goal', I said. 'I love the fact you say 'our' and not 'my', Glen said. 'Yeah that is how I am Glenny', I said with a giggle. Glen laughed. 'So you and Andi, that is so sweet, Andi as in my best friend as in Danny's sister, wow totally not an example from 'it's complicated', I said. Glen laughed. 'I know her forever, but I now look at her in a different way, not just a friend, I was glad she broke up with her last boyfriend, I don't even remember his name', Glen said. 'I don't either, but let's face it, you are way better to her than that asshole is', I said.

I felt like I got a bit closer with Glen after that conversation. Looks like both boys wanted to get to know me. So I am thinking about telling them everything, I know deep in my heart I can trust both of them, they have been friends with Danny for more then 10 years. 'Goodbye babe', I said giving Danny a kiss as I went out for a walk with Mark. 'Don't kidnap my girlfriend Mark and don't get lost', Danny said smiling at me.

'So... what do you want to know about me, because I can't help but think you are maybe not the right one for Danny', Mark said. 'Mark... I get where you are coming from, and I overheard you and Danny talking about me the other night. I promise I open op more, I am not Irma, I will not leave Danny. I don't care about gossip. I really don't. All I care about is Danny, you guys and Andi. Of course the O'Donoghue clan who were kind enough to take me in', I said. 'I know you are not Irma, you are the exact opposite of her, she was selfish and actually a bitch as it turned out, you on the other hand are kind, caring and you have humor and you are taken interest in our music. And you are interested myself and Glen, which Irma didn't cared for very much', Mark said. 'I care about you and Glen, and I know I have been to your house once with that party were I met your wife and kids, which was the best party ever, and Rina, she is amazing', I said. 'Yeah she says that you two are still having contact after that party', Mark said. 'We have', I said with a smile. 'Cool, I am glad you guys get along very well, Irma was a bitch to my wife, I still didn't forgive what she did', Mark said. 'What is it that she did to Rina?', I asked. 'She knew Rina's mother from a tennis club, Irma accused Rina's mother from stealing, Rina's mother was kicked off the tennis club because of something she didn't do', Mark said. 'She does sound like a bitch, the more stories I hear about her the less I like her', I said.

Mark took a deep breath. 'Yes I hated Irma and I was kind a glad that things with her and Danny ended, not that it turns out that she started dating Ian, which makes me even hate her more, betrayel against Danny. Danny was really heartbroken after that, now he found you 1.5 years later. I am really happy he did, but I will always be afraid for the girlfriend he brings home', Mark said. 'I understand that, I want nothing more then make you forget about Irma, because I am not her, it would be ashame to me and, I hope not, other girlfriends that Danny brings home to deal with something Irma did. We all have a past we want to run from. We all needed to do things we are not proud off. But I hope that at some poimt you trust me', I said. 'Oh I already trust you Nessa, you are in these past 3 months way better for Danny then Irma was in 4 years', Mark said with a smile. I smiled at him. 'So why are you living with Danny back in Dublin?', Mark asked. And I told him exactly why.

Danny

I saw Mark and Nessa coming back. It was a long walk. Nessa smiled at me and kissed me cheerful. I saw Mark smiling. So something was good. After that Glen and Nessa took off. I think it was for Glen to get to know Nessa too. It surprised me. Mark and Glen taking time to chat with my girlfriend, they never did that with Irma.

'Hey mate, I totally changed my mind about her, she is really nice and she belongs in your world Dan, our world. She opened up to me. She asked about me. She has contact with Rina since the Christmas party', Mark said with a smile. 'Yeah she mentioned that a few times. 'Really? Well she also told me about her family and why that they are the reason she is staying at your place', Mark said. 'She told you about her dad?', I asked. 'Yeah, she said it was easyer to tell me now she had told you, I think I love her', Mark said with a smile. 'Aaaw Mark, you are amazing, I love it that you guys love her', I said. 'She also said that she doesn't care about fame, and isn't doing this job because of your money, I can tell that she loves you Dan, this one is a keeper, now it's your turn to not screw it up', Mark said. 'When have I ever...', I said sarcastic.

Yeah. Another update. Did the whole chapter on my mobile. Wow my fingers are sore. 3 updates in one day. How is that. How did you liked the talk between Mark and Nessa.
